Besides anabolics, How do i avoid muscle loss on a cut?

I'm embarrassed to say, I have been bulking for 4 years. I'm at like 25% bf, I'm gross. I've never actually cut before

How do I avoid muscle loss on a cut?

I'll be running 700 test and 300 primo

Will doing too dramatic of a cut, cause muscle loss if I keep my protein high?
Bro only one way to find out, but he’s right n tbh if you’re on 700 test you should keep most of everything if not even gain muscle, you will also burn fat easier due to the thermogenesis created by extra muscle so yeah keep protein very high (I usually go for 1/1.5g when bulking n I rarely cut but if cutting take it even up to 2/2.5g per lb of bw so you’re gonna be full of protein n you will probably not lose any muscle between the amount of anabolics n the nutrients).

Apart from that imo you could try to do a carb cycle type of diet as that works great for most people n keeps lots of strength n muscle n you can even almost bulk while cutting if done right (you go into ketosis like 5 days a week then refeed the other 2 days for example)

Keep the training intensity as high as possible n even higher than usual if you can (without injuring yourself ofc) n lift heavy af as that also keeps your muscle on point n I found doing lots of low rep sets but with short rest periods can be fkin amazing for that type of purpose, like 10 x 3 or something like that.

If you have some specific goals or issues lmk or just in general don’t overthink it bro you are in a state that is far from catabolic so idk why you’re worried, just make sure diet is on point n you’re good shit ion even do cardio while cutting cos I do the diet n nutrient manipulation right but that’s very subjective ofc

Yeah man high protein for sure will help the most. But on those doses you wont lose muscle unless you go way low with your calories.
This. Ahah OP you are on 700 test that alone would let you pretty much do whatever tf you want n maintain a good amt of your muscle without even training so if you train hard n eat well you’re golden, idk why people overthink this stuff it’s pretty basic but it’s just gonna be annoying as you might dream certain foods but as long as you stick with your plan n don’t lower your cals too quickly you’re finna be fkin great n it should come pretty easy too

Oh btw n make sure you sleep more than you do now, many have issues while cutting so it’s better to be proactive n sleep more than what you think you should cos you might sleep less or wake up often, another reason to do the carb cycling imo but hey to each their own

I have done a cut on cycle and not only did I retain my muscle mass, but I also gained some and significantly increased my strength.

More cardio and eat clean and cut waaaay down on the sweets. Drink plenty of water as well.
This too. Hydration becomes even more essential once you’re cutting as lower carbs for example means lower glycogen storage which means less water plus idk bout y’all but I piss like a mfka when I cut weight (but that’s mostly due to me doing huge amts of water to then drain fluid retention, it’s a trick I learned when I used to fight n then supercompensate but idk how applicable it is in OP’s case) imo you could even gain muscle while cutting as long as you keep your protein high n you cycle carbs keep good levels of fats n lots of water diet wise, then keep lifting real heavy (nah fr try to do as much strength training as possible as it has always helped me out in the past while leaning out to train like a powerlifter, which I guess I always do but during the bulk phase I usually do more powerbuilding n then while leaning out I do the carb cycle n keep the volume a bit lower than when I’m fulla calories but still hit 10 x 3 on the main lifts then on accessories I do more bbing style).

Either way though OP you are running a pretty good amt of gear so you should be good regardless of what you do as long as you don’t cut too drastically, n fr look into doing a couple refeeds a week as that will help you keep both your strength up and also the fullness due to the cut fkin with your glycogen storage so carb tf up n bit up a pizza n a burger on the weekend or sumn like that

You always lose muscle in a “cut”. Steroid and proper protein only mitigate this.
Not being fat is worth any muscle you might sacrifice.

Reasonable deficit, high protein intake (1g - 1.5g per lb depending on how lean you are), keeping up intensity in the gym, and if you're aiming for sub 10% bodyfat, I'd say some muscle loss is inevitable, although that's just a gut feeling.

And not to sound like a dick, but these are all things that you should already know, and have already done, before starting steroids.

This is true I didn’t factor in the bf % OP is going for but unless you’re going for single digits you should be pretty good on retaining nearly all if not all of your muscle

High protein diet and intensity in the gym are the only things besides aas that will signal to keep your tissue in a deficit.

The same weight that built the muscle is the same weight that will
Maintain the muscle in a deficit.

So lift fucking heavy and eat adequate protein. That’s it.
