Bicep blasters

Always wanted one. Poor mans preacher curl.
I have a preacher curl machine (plate loaded). It's just ehh. I don't really feel my biceps burn. So I'm figuring I'll give the bicep blaster a shot with regular dumbbells and maybe with an olympic bar.

I'm trying to feel my biceps more. Because that's my most lagging muscle group

That piece of equipment is one that we used back in the 80's. Decent isolation but I think they figured out that its bad for the neck.

I get the best feel out of
1) Spider Curls
2) Cable curls using both the low cable and high cable on the crossover machine. Especially like the high cable, step 2-3 steps back, flat bar, keep elbows high and pull to touch the bar on your forehead, pause and lower slowly. Also like same setep except laying down and pulling to forehead.
3) Cable curls using crossover machine. Setup like your going to do chest crossovers, keep elbows parallel to ground and curl towards your ears, both hands at the same time
4) Sounds funny but slow, concentrated, flexing curls with an exercise band. Secure it chest high step back 5-6 feet and pull towards your chin, one arm at a time, flexing and pausing at the top.

I have a plate loaded preacher curl also but I f'in love mine, nothing hits my biceps like it dose.they feel like they wana explode.

Try single arm preachers with a dumbell using ur incline bench for podiym. I have a freind who feels these better than a regular preacher. I do these when we train together, just to make em happy lol.

Spicer curls are ok. My second favorite or probably best for a pump is just s cable curl with low pull an ex bar.

Ez bar free/cable, preacher, dumbell alternate and hammer. Is all I need but the fancy stuff is nice. Not to mention chin up back in the day which is what probably put the most size and strength on the bis, while doing wonders for my lats.

Have you tried doing Spider curls?

I found they really put the peak onto my Bi's, they just hit very different to every other Bi exercise for me. I always struggled like it sounds you are with Bi exercises never feeling like they hit the Bi's well. Spider curls get a mad pump and burn and it feels like they work through a much larger range of motion then other Bi exercises for me.

Arms are one of my non-lagging muscle groups and they were built with skull crushers with an EZ-curl bar and standing barbell curls.

Form was never great for barbell curls; threw my back into it when it got heavy to crank out a few more reps.

I don't do that anymore for safety reasons but great mass builder ime

I was

Looking at those before but couldn't justify the space needed. I was gana buy the bodysolid 1 but I just have a cheapy that's build on to my weight bench. At the gym I go to sometimes I use the hammer strength stack 1.

Real nice man. That looks like it would work just fine.

Today I tried it out on a lower weight and slow high reps and got a nasty burn. Really liking it now lol. I think I was just going too heavy

super set a bicep curl exercise, right into a bicep curl with bands. Its brutal!!!!

Intrigued by all the spider curl love. Definitely going to try. Thanks guys.

Incline cable curls and hi cable curls are crushing it for me right now. Not to mention hi rep sets 15-20 are pumping me up nicely.
