BP Medication in Powder Form

I am new to the forum. I have high BP but controlled with medication. I am considering switching to a new medication and can only find it in powder form which is new for me. How is that prepped and administered?

Comes in 25mg strength but I want to take 12.5 a day. Tablets would have been easier so I am struggling to decide whether to get the powder form. The vendor sheet shows 10g, 50g and 100g quantities

Wouldn't f* with it. BP med from pharmacy only, no exceptions, don't be an idiot risking your health and possibly life...

Well, I think I have my answer. Someone else asked a similar question about AI’s in powder form. I think I will be patient until I can locate the tablets.

Are you talking about telmisartan? Mixed with glycerin it works well as a suspension. You have to shake well though each time

That’s exactly the medicine I am referring to. If I go that route any advice on properly measuring dosage? Under dosing is ok, over is not.

Make a suspension with glycerol or Humco if available at 25mg/ml and shake and consume .5ml

Yeah, use a 1ml syringe, shake bottle well. I mixed mine up to achieve a 40mg/ml concentration
