Qingdao Sigma Chemical Co., Ltd (International, US, EU, Canada and Australia domestic

Fines to the company which sent package?

The recipient; just like they can issue fines at border crossings for any type of contraband or undeclared goods. There's always an appeals process,

I guess the thinking is it'll be another deterrent, stronger than a letter, less than a criminal charge.

Knew a guy flying into the US caught with some personal use quantity of pot, After 3 hours they said he would be fined $5,000, or, he could "settle" for $500 by signing an admission and making immediate payment.

I'm really hoping peps just get shipped as research chems. As far as I can tell, all but GH are legal, provided they're not sold for. human use and labeled properly. The one member who had them seized recently said the improper labeling was the cause given on the CBP letter.

I can wait on AAS for a good while.

Maybe a silver lining is while they're dealing with all these Chinese packs, India pharma will get through more easily and stop being such a hassle. The de minimus cutoff only applies to China.
Pretty sure that’s why mine is detained. It’s only peptides but not labeled like the others

Thanks for the datapoint man. I've heard CBP is considering issuing fines with love letters in the future, something they already have the power to impose, similar to what some European countries do. So it could've been worse.
Ghoul,

You're going to have to be specific when addressing these "shipping" and "shortages" issues. "I've heard..." is not fair to anyone who follows your posts.

In this case, are you referring to fines from the EU, imposed on the SENDER for failing to pay VAT and these customs declarations guidelines...?

De minimus shipments from China are suspended. This will subject every Chinese pack to significantly more scrutiny, and fees will have to be paid to customs in order to receive delivery.

Thanks to @doclepoer for bringing this to my attention.

I don't see how UGL vendors will be able to ship from China with the new situation.

For those terrified to "sign for a package" because they think it's evidence that can be used against them (it isn't), paying the customs fees sure is.

As usual, I hope I'm wrong about the impact this will have, but it sure doesn't look good.
Hopefully my reship from another vendor will make it through. It was shipped before Feb 1st and just had an update of being in the US today.

There is always re routing shipments… I doubt would be as profitable for small aas oils… might have to go bck to raws only days…

I choose my words carefully to assign the correct amount of probability to the statement.

I've "heard they're considering" is exactly that. It's something within the realm of possibility but far from certain.

If I present a documents and articles, and my reasoning as to why I believe something's likely, that's much more certain.

I was just pointing that out so the recipient had a reason to be glad it wasn't worse, Not because I expect anyone to take that info not any kind of consideration as to what they'll order or not order: Besides, whatever happens with Chinese UGLs from here forward, it's not going to be business as usual, for the US, at least not for AAS,

PS: I was referring to places like Switzerland, where customs can and will impose a fine for, for instance, certain peptides, including a bill for destroying them. They'll also check a registry to see if you're a professional athlete, and impose additional penalties.

Officially got a love letter.

It even mentioned a Fentanyl task force called "F.I.N.D.", also mentioned exactly what the pack contained and a fairly accurate value estimate of the pack.

So this is 100% not like "every other time, this happens every year, you stupid noobs".

@Ghoul
Was this an order that hit customs on December 20th?

Tracy is gone. I bet he had enough inventory in the US to push some volume during the last couple of weeks, but other issues did not allow that to happen. Unlikely he will be back.

RIP
