what is your fasted blood glucose on hgh and how much do you take?

so ive been on 4iu since early december, recently went to 6iu while on a bulking cycle

i just started checking my fasted glucose the past week. sometimes i get a reading just barely over 100. 103 is the highest ive gotten so far when i first wake up, 93 is the lowest, ill continue to monitor this...

i check it randomly lately throughout the day and its usually around 90-110 whenever i check it.

ive read that cortisol levels upon waking could cause fasted glucose to be a little elevated.

with all this in mind, ill definitely continue to monitor my fasted glucose, but i was just curious what you guys who check your glucose have experienced while taking gh

if it matters, im on 600 test 300 deca 300 primo currently with the 6iu ed before bed.

Keep in mind that if you take HGH before bed and check your fasted BG 6-10 hours later it's gonna be elevated, same applies for fasted insulin. If you want to be 100% sure if your fasted BG reflects to reality better pin your GH after you measure your BG or discontinue it for couple days.

All in all i believe fasted BG is not a marker worth paying too much attention. HbA1c, fasted insulin and HOMA-IR are better for dictating if you're insulin resistant or not. Obviously if someone uses insulin it's a different story and measuring multiple times a day is needed.

I’m definitely going to start checking HbA1c when I get labs done in a few weeks.

Currently on 3.5IU/day taken subq before bed at about 930pm, working my way up to 5IU.

At about 550am I measure and am coming in at about 100 average, as low as 93 and as high as 109.

i take 5 ius daily , 2iu in am and 3iu before bed, my fbg in the morning is 90-95 , sometimes its a little lower than 90 , but according to my average its @90 ish ,, Hba1c is 5.2 on last blood test ,,

This doesn’t worry you?
A bit? I started berberine 2 days ago. I am going to keep watching it.

I don’t really eat carbs other than incidentals like the 1g in whey and a couple here and there from low sugar condiments, and some non-starch vegetables like broccoli. My ketones are measured at the same time and bounce between 0.5 and 1.0

I eat a ton of carbs. I just ordered berberine last night too. And I’m going to keep my eye on my BG from now on and get my hba1c checked

in my test a couple of weeks ago I foolishly did not order a1c. I was on 2iu/day same timing and got drawn at 3pm fasted. My glucose was 73.

I plan to get another in about 6 weeks and will definitely be ordering a1c with it.

A month ago I was doing a cut on 2.5mg tirz and 4iu, 250 test and 200 primo and went in for labs and my glucose was 68 after a small meal of beef and brocolli. That’s kinda why I’ve been surprised since my fasted glucose in the past 2 weeks that I’ve been checking it has always been 90-103

All my other labs in the past (never used tirz on any of those though) my glucose is typically under 100 but I don’t really ever go fasted. Because I gotta eat lol

Currently on 3iu/day, fasted cardio AM, 1 cap of dihydroberberine at night before bed after final meal. Consistently glucose is in the low 70's.

Diabetes is not something I would FAFO with. You got pretty solid data suggesting you’ve become pre diabetic and it is likely time to take serious steps to mitigate that.

My FBG has always been good, rarely >80, even up to 10 IU GH/d.

But I also do a lot of cardio, try to minimize sedentary behavior (walk breaks throughout the day), no big carb-heavy meals at night, etc. Not sure how much each of those help, but worth considering if BG starts creeping.

I do fasted cardio everyday but I don’t really limit my food late at night. I work second shift and hit the gym after work then come home eat shower inject gh and sleep and repeat that miserable process lol.

So my “morning fasted glucose” is really at around 1pm. Not sure if that makes any difference. I’m just going to definitely keep a close eye on it and also start checking hba1c when I get my labs every 2-3 months and see how that looks.

Also going to add berberine after I do some more research on it to make sure there’s no long term negatives that come from taking it

Shift work is tough in this context. I mean all contexts, but especially for metabolic health, glucose management, etc.

Keep exercising and be mindful of sleep hygiene.

Sedentary shift workers with poor sleep quality take the biggest hit wrt risk factors. Don't be one of those.
