Anyone have experience with teeth whitening?

You can ask your dentist to make a mold of your teeth and then buy the whitening gel from them or elsewhere so you can do it at home and save some money.

I haven't had my own molds made yet but this is the way to go if keeping up with it.

Whitening strips worked okay for me but made my teeth super sensitive. Professional whitening was way better, but if you have crowns or veneers, they won’t whiten like natural teeth.

If anyone is considering dental work along with whitening, checking out options abroad can save a lot. I found https://www.colinadental.com/services/dental-crowns-in-costa-rica-procedures-and-prices/ really helpful for understanding costs and procedures if you're looking into crowns.

professional whitening is best & you get to keep the tears to use them in a future (you just buy top up gel). Saying that, the crest strips are actually very effective too, but only the ones sold in US - European/UK not as strong (due to the regulations)

Standard home whitening set is your (custom made) trays + a few whitening gel syringes (2 or 4 - depending from the size of the syringe). Those syringes will be enough for two weeks (usual length of your whitening). If you want to refresh your results in a years time (or whenever) you can usually buy top up gel syringes from your provider. They will cost a fraction of the initial overall whitening cost, as you’ve already got your bleaching trays, that you can reuse

Peroxide. Some of the newer ones use carbamide peroxide.

You're probably looking for an inexpensive DIY option.

Check out MySmile on Amazon. The whole kit is $20. I had good results with it and no cold sensitivity like with whitening strips.

So far i have tried various methods from professional treatments to crest strips , smile incentives, and some others, it really boils down to your enamel and some people just have a tinted teeth, i just happen to respond very well to every treatment ive had, its just something that has to be done on a regular basis to keep that movie star smile,,

What I found works very well, but may depend on where you are in the world, is that you can order "mould kits" at home - essentially to make retainers. You then can buy carbamide peroxide that you apply to the retainers and you can sleep wearing them. 5 weeks of this and your teeth are very white - I understand this is often what Dentists sell as whitening kits.
