Before I split any pharmacy medicice, I look up if it is OK. 90% of the time it is, but there are some, especially time-released formulas where you shouldn't. Only thing I learned about spltting eszopiclone and why it is coated is it TASTE LIKE COMPLETE ASS. If you do it, you better get it down quick.
Yes you absolutely can.
FYI, when dealing with pharmaceuticals (not UGL), if tablets are scored they *can* be split, if they cannot be split (like a tablet that uses active ingredients that may not be evenly distributed), they won't be scored.
One caveat is that sometimes a tablet that can be spilt won't be scored. Best to look it up.
But if a score line is present, you're good to go.
