USA Discounted Blood work

View attachment 330497I just compared my recent DrSays lab work with fitnomics. Overall fitnomics is cheaper, but it is mostly driven by a few specific tests. So probably best to just compare your specific needs and see what makes sense. I'll probably stick with DrSays since I don't usually test Vitamin-D or IGF-1, which makes the difference about $7, and with the higher monthly fees on fitnomics, DrSays would be cheaper. I do also like that my wife can order bloodwork as well under my same DrSays subscription.
Hey …. THANK YOU for this

070195 Testosterone, Free, Direct (via EIA), With Total Testosterone, (via LC/MS-MS)

Does anyone know if this test from labcorp/DrSays is capped at 1500?

My first experience with LabCorp didn’t go well, though I have no complaints about Fitomics - they were great and even issued me a refund for the ultra sensitive estradiol since LabCorp couldn’t process the test. Never had that happen before.

Now I’m even questioning the rest of the results, especially the testosterone. Either the lab messed up the numbers, or Stan’s Test C is severely underdosed - which I seriously doubt.

I’ve scheduled new bloodwork next week through Quest, ordered via Private MD Labs.

In the end, I tried to save money and ended up spending more: $30 subscription, $220 for the Fitomics labs, and now another $100 for new tests.

Classic move on my part - budget-friendly genius at work.

Anyone from NY used this service? NY legislators are a bunch of nanny-state assholes when it comes to this shit. Their web site doesn't say if I'll have access to all the tests (or I can't find it?). I don't wanna pay for a membership to find out I can't get everything I need.

@DonLigero any sales dropping soon?

Also, I appreciate them adding the additional Quest labs. Do you think they could also add Cystatin C for Quest? I bought labs recently and that lab was the only one missing that I needed.

Just FYI, DrSays also price matches. However it needs to be a public url that they can access.

They run a 24/7 telemedicine business -- they respond really quick.

You can also just cherrypick tests from both and bring two slips to labcorp; my last blood draw I ordered the Lipid Cascade, apo A1/B/ratio, CRP and Troponin T from Drsays and saved like 20 bucks vrs just ordering everything from Fitnomics. I asked the labcorp person when I was there and she told me you can bring as many slips as you need and they will still draw your blood for all the orders at once.

If I think my hematocrit and RBC are high I just take 2-3 slips with tons of labs. By the time they’ve filled those 20 vials my levels are good again. Lol

Is the TA quicker?
Not really. About the same. And E2 Ultrasensitive/Sensitive is severely delayed for both. But Quest is 12 minutes from my house and opens at 6:30 and LabCorp is 35 minutes and opens at 7AM. Plus LabCorp’s results stopped appearing on their customer portal back in January but Quest works as it should. Quest also sends preliminary results without having to ask Quest or Fitomics for them.

I've been very happy with Quest as well - everything shows up in Apple Health, incremental results as tests are ready, and a good portal. Protip: use a location that doesn't do employer drug tests.

I just learned something new. I wasn’t aware it can feed into Apple Health. Thanks for that info
