Meant to post this when I started 3 weeks ago but never ended up making the account lol. Reta has been a game changer for me(being previously 40% bodyfat and getting heavy into bodybuilding…you understand that those old fat cells are constantly sending hunger signals even when you’re full. So I have a hard time putting the damn fork down.

Anyway I have tried semaglutide…could not stand the negative sides; low energy, non-stop migraines, heartburn.

Now for the reta: Just finished week 3 @ 0.5mg 2x per week every 3.5 days(mon/thurs).

Side effects to note:
-higher resting HR

Positive effects:
-don’t get “hangry” anymore
-down 15lbs
-mood is more stable (insulin control?)
-100% self control; no cravings for junk
-chewing slower (was always a fast eater)
-getting more enjoyment out of meals

Will continue to report as I continue down this road.

This is awesome! Glad everything is off to a great start on your journey. My wife started this earlier this year after popping out our fourth kid. You will have your ups and downs but best advice I can give you is drink tons of water, stay hydrated, grab those zero sugar Gatorades if you need to change it up. Still eat throughout the day. Handful of blueberries, yogurt, something small so that way you don't get the spins or pass out randomly while standing up from sitting. Speaking from all I've seen and noticed that helped. Look into a good probiotic to. I have even taken a supplement by Heart & Soil that helped keep things mellowed out when things got hard. Goodluck on your journey.

Just finished week four. Started taking nebivolol for the increased heart rate. Working like a charm because my sleep is much better now. I can only eat one meal per day on non-training days and two meals per day on training days. If I try to eat two meals on non-training days like I did once last week… I ended up having to wake up in the middle of the night and puke it out so sticking to one meal a day on non-training days. It’s actually been pretty easy to do this because I find that even though I may be slightly hungry, I’m not ravenous like I normally would be if I fasted..

I had to start taking 1200mg magnesium glycinate due to having slight constipation. This got things moving enough without actually having diarrhea.

Overall, I feel great on this drug because it allows me to fast and heal my digestion. I have fasted before to do this but normally experience, anxiety ups and downs, dizziness, etc., and I’m not experiencing that while taking this drug.

Running this alongside 5iu gh, 600 test, 300 mast, 1mg arimidex m/w/f. Even though I’m only eating one or two meals a day my body is hanging on the tissue and possibly even putting on tissue. This week, my body weight didn’t change, but I look much leaner than I did last week!

Week 5 - second injection of 0.5mg tomorrow. Starting to feel a slight appetite increase. Thinking about finishing out this week at a total load of 1mg and bumping to 1.5mg next week. If it does necessitate an increase I will inject every third day. So pattern will be:

Inject
Off
Off
Inject
Off
Off
Inject

Will keep ya’ll updated!

I am personally not taking Reta, but two people close to me are taking it and they are having no results at 5mg a week. I guess I am just confused on the dosage as some like yourself are taking .5mg, and some taking 7.5mg. Just wondering how some of these low dosages are benefitting some.

Also are you currently bodybuilding (competing) just wondering what cycles you have ran before the current one you are on?

Since these are hormones (GLP/GIP/Glucagon), baseline endogenous production and sensitivity will be all over the place.

Look at the this way. If someone has a baseline Test level of 700 is 100mg TRT a week gong to have a noticeable impact?

If someone has baseline Test level of 150 then 100mg TRT will likely change their life.

I have too much cycle experience to list… I came to the dark side when I was 26 years old and have used Gear on and off since then… I am currently 38 years old.

As far as these people using 5 mg I would say that they’re probably using bunk stuff. The first batch I got was from a Chinese supplier and my clients had to run 3 mg to see an effect. I don’t believe it was really 3 mg though. As the same clients are getting the same effect from 1 mg or less, depending on the person.

So far female seem need need more around 2 mg a week and males seem to need less half a milligram to 1 mg a week.

For one I would double check your friends math because a lot of people don’t even know how to calculate this stuff properly and to I would check their source because they might be getting a bunk product.

Week 7 of Reta…

1.5mg weekly

Appetite picking up but suspect this is due to the significant amount of fat I have dropped over the course of this cut. Abs are coming in and metabolism is being stoked for sure. Might up the dose to 0.5mg eod to keep a consistent 2mg in my system weekly.

Body comp has changed significantly…I am wearing clothes now that I was wearing 6 weeks out from my show.

Did I mention I am doing ZERO cardio….and I am mostly sedentary outside of the weights I am hitting 4-5 days per week. My body has never gotten this lean, this fast without cardio.
