Hey guys, anyone here stayed on test only 500mg for 12 months? Is this stupid? How was recovery? My mate recently just jump off an almost 2 year cycle 500mg test with no pct, I keep telling him to get blood work done but he hasn’t but he looks like he’s losing hella gains. Is 12 months at a dose of 500 too long for the body to recover? I know it’s hit or miss. What you guys recon?

Ive never done that nor do I plan to but i'm usually on 300mg test year round and no issues. Likewise, i also do 500mg total cruises too - no issues.

Go for it. If your bloods shit the bed then back off.

I tested at 61.0 nmol/L total T and >2000 (capped) pmol/L free T
Alright, that seems like a relatively normal response. What's your estrogen management protocol on that? Any issues with excessive DHT (e.g. hair loss, prostate growth), or do you use finasteride/dutasteride?

My last bloods when at 200mg/week showed me smack dab at the upper end of the US normal ranges for total/free. So it's a safe cruise dose. I wouldn't mind a *little* more than that, but I'm not 100% sure where you draw the line between cruise and blast. I guess whatever keeps your bloods in good ranges, your sides low, and your feelz good?

I don't implement a strict e2 management protocol in there - if I have mast/primo/eq, I'll add in 100mg only for sake of more juice lol but if I'm not bothered then I'll stick to test only.

No issues re hair loss, prostate, gyno etc. All is fine for me. My e2 runs high at 300mg (can't remember) but again, no issues. Blood markers are all fine, no reds.

Yes, I go purely off blood markers which in turn dictates feelz (good health, good body, good mind, all good).

Also, re blasts and cruises (for myself) - I have a set rule of minimum 12 weeks @ <500mg Total AAS for cruises. For blasts, I would keep pushing until my blood markers redline or I burn out (the former has yet to happen) which is usually around the 6 months timeframe from past data. No established peak dose for blasts, though I've never gone above 1.2g Total AAS. And then rinse and repeat.

Currently, I've been on 300 test and 100 primo since Feb (prior to this I was off cold turkey for roughly 2 months) and I don't plan on pushing the mgs until next year. Will be a cruisy year for me this year.

If you run 500 for a year and then quit cold turkey, it's highly unlikely you will recover. If you do this, plan on being on TRT for the rest of your life.

My prescribed TRT dose is 200mg Test Cyp twice weekly.

I typically run half that for cruise with 100ish Primo. Either way I stay at the capped limits and he's fine with that as long as all my other markers are good.

Thing is I'm coming up at the end of my script and need to visit again and he's expensive and a two hour drive. My current financial situation sucks going through a divorce so I'm probably just going to order my own labs and go for on my own for a while since I know where I need to be.

I've accepted I'll be on TRT for life and it's not an issue for me but I could see it for younger guys.

If you blast and pct of course it makes it harder to recover, but not impossible in most cases and the younger you are the more chances you have.

I blast Testosterone 350mg/week for 6-8 months at the time now, then return to high end trt of 150mg for 3 months. For now it is enough for me. Possibly due to my age and genetics. Time will tell more.

I could possibly use that much Testosterone without any breaks by donating bloods regularly. As my bloodwork is still passable on such amounts of T.

The only reason I don't let myself that, is that I want to come off to TRT some and rest, not just for health, but mental too.

During the august I will taper off in to TRT slowly and begin again mid december. So counting in the tapering off phase, I will be on a true trt for 3.5 months before I blast again.

you're really moderate in your blast and "high end trt"

i remember the last 2 or more cruises ive done is the trt+ blast you're running

300 mg can’t be right, I don't think labs measure measure E2 in milligrams. If your level is actually 300 pg/mL, that is extremely elevated. What country are you in? Could your lab be using pmol/L instead, which would put you closer to 80 pg/mL?

Have you had any imaging or cardiac checks? High E2 is not always a problem while blasting if your bloodwork and symptoms are under control, but staying at those levels long term can raise blood pressure, cause water retention, and contribute to LVH.

It sounds like your watching your markers but even 300 pico is wildly high.

Most semi-competitive powerlifters, strongmen, weight lifters and even most bodybuilders rarely come below 500mg - or atleast not in the circle I move in.

Fuck, I dont think ive been below 500mg for nearly 5 years now....
