I injected approximately 2.25mg of Reta last Monday. It has been destroying me. Extreme lethargy. Incredible heartburn.

What do I do? Will it get better?

Heartburn and gut issues are known, the lethargy i'm not so sure it comes from reta. In my case it has me wired all day and obviously messes my sleep. I believe in a couple days it will wear off, unfortunately you'll have to suck it up. As far as i know there's nothing you can do to speed up the clearence.

The heartburn is debilitating. I've barely eaten these past few days.

I see people on here taking 15mg and I'm confused.

When I went from 2.5 to 5 with Tirz I had a week from hell. Diarrhea 24/7. Didn't sleep all week.

I recently got back on at 2mg where I have no noticable sides but it helps me not be consumed by wanting to eat all day long.

Some people are pjuking, and have massive diarrhea already at 2 mg - I Call us Hyper-responders *loooool*

Yeah start slow , Maybe even 0,5mg for 4 weeks
So the drug is basically a significant time commitment. You need to titrate up from a very low dose for some months before you reach the clinically effective dose?

Guess I fucked up

Perplexity says:

Standard Dosing Protocol
Titration Schedule (typical):
• Weeks 1-2: 1 mg weekly
• Weeks 3-4: 2 mg weekly
• Weeks 5-8: 4 mg weekly
• Weeks 9-12: 8 mg weekly
• Week 13+: 12 mg weekly (maximum dose)

I'm not aware of a protocol that involves 15 mg even titrating upwards.

I haven't made the Reta jump so no firsthand experience. Tirzepatide slow titration up to 15 mg (and I guess some studies looking at going higher...)...but no reason to necessarily go up that high to still have some benefit.

Semaglutide at 2mg caused me some of the effects you describe...like it was kinda miserable. If I ever had to go back to it, id just titrate up slower.

As someone already said, kinda unusual for reta to cause extreme lethargy...unless maybe your body is just dying for the calories you're not able to take in now.

Ride out the week... probably skip the next dose and start lower. Just my opinion.

Some can take 1g tren a week and stay normal, i've seen people having terrible sides from 2IU GH.

Not all respond the same. I was pretty ok until 4mg, when i bumped it to 6+ it destroyed me but in just 1 week after reducing the dose i went back to normal.

For hurtburn use antacids or a ppi like Nexium BUT be very careful, use it for a few days and then drop it because if you stay long on it you'll get used to it and when you try to quit it heartburn will return with a vengeance.

There are guys able to eat a dinner of 4 on 15mg tirz or reta. Trenbolonetax was eating like crazy on his free meals on 12mg reta.

yes, what is your goal specifially?

bodybuilding? fat loss? or treament for some kind of disease

bodybuilding, stick to whatever dosage lets u meet your caloric goals. same with fat loss. theres no point in endless tiltration if the dosage have acquired its goals

being diabetic/other stuff? minimum-effective dosing is good. even 2mg have very good effects! as long as it dosent mess your normal life too much

You stay on one dose for 4 weeks.

My goal is some fat loss, but also counteracting HGH increases in blood glucose levels.

my father used 2mg for 5 weeks and complained on the 5th week how his stomach was upset and wanted to puke.

Had him stop for 2 weeks and now do 1mg at a time and if he doesn't have bad side effects bump it up to another 1mg throughout the week.

He's overweight and I weigh way less and can handle higher doses of reta than he can. Makes no sense but this stuff hits people differently.

The bigger you are, seems like more miserable you are on Glp-1's. All the already thin people under 200 pounds taking it don't seem to have as many side effects for whatever reason unless they get too scrawny/malnourished.
