What is the expected course of action for US Domestic vendors when they notice contamination?
(1) Continue selling, keeping quiet, till sold out?
(2) Toss all out, notify all clients for that batch, issue refunds (Honestly which vendor will do this?)
If 6 vials are found to be contaminated, is the assumption that everything else is good to go but 6 vials are not? If a sterile vial has a black spec, does that mean all vials except that vial is good to go?
At this point I'm just glad i don't buy much oils anymore, but i don't use a flow hood or whatsoever, maybe my oils are even worse

You think many of these sources actually have a vertical laminar flow hood and perform proper PMs, testing?

Just an update on my previous post about PIP from SSA’s gear - I’ve pinned twice now since filtering and although not completing painless, it’s significantly better! Based on this I would say the PIP was due to contamination, not the BB/BA concentration.

When I would make small amounts of special blends or high-concentration back when I homebrewed, I eventually stopped filtering it altogether
This after years of brewing.
I used 20% BB/2% BA and heated vigorously
Never got an infection from that gear, but I have from other gear that was filtered
I'm going to be honest, and I'll probably get down voted for this:
IMO unless someone spit in your vial and it has no BA, anecdotally it seems low-probability that you're going to be harmed by not filtering it.
Of course you should always be safe, I just want to offer a contrasting experience for discussion's sake.

Funny coincidence, I was looking at the “recipe list” leaked a while ago allegedly from MuscleCandy, and their Tren Base recipe had no BA in it. Lots of guaiacol, though, which does appear to have some antibacterial properties. That stuff is the stench that keeps on giving.
I don’t doubt that most of us have robust immune systems that shrug off most minor bacterial invasions. Mine’s so robust it attacks my own tissues, and I have to take drugs to modulate it. So I’m kinda sensitive about that sort of thing. We have no way of knowing whether sources put BA into the brew and/or spat in it and/or seasoned it by pouring it down their taints, so now I’m even more motivated to filter.

I've seen it too, it's actually very insightful.
I got a feeling anything with G can be replaced out with a higher b.a% but i have no raws to confirm.
The Tren base recipe is very odd tho, you can just do it with normal ba/bb.

I only stopped filtering when making small amounts (say, 10-50mL) of bespoke blends or high-concentration
It just didn't seem worth the effort to use an entire bottle top filter, especially since a small amount of oil can be lost in the process

What does everyone think the order of operations should be
Filter into empty sterile vial, then heat, or heat the original vial first, then filter into new vial?

I apply heat if im combining vials.
E.g 1 kit into a 100ml vial.
After filtering, i heat up the 100ml vial and shake.
Other than that, no need to use heat. I used to heat during filtering, till i had a few nipro rubber plungers start degrading..

If I’m not mistaken I think the heating process that was discussed was to sterilize vials of product in lieu of filtering them. I apologize if I’m mistaken but that was my understanding. But it’s also my impression that filtering is a better than a dry heat sterilization. Someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong

Yep. When a compounding pharmacy terminally sterilizes a vial of injectable testosterone, for instance, the FDA allows them to put a much longer expiration date on it, as an incentive.
