STOCK UP: Don't say you weren't warned! (US)

There are plenty of countries with near watertight customs. Vendors have listed them as "No reship" or no send at all,
Issue with that is none of them even come close to USA in terms of import value. Strictest countries are UAE, Singapore, and Australia. The USA imports over 4x than any of those and has a much larger population. It’s like trying to kink a fire hose as if it’s a garden hose, I don’t see how it can work.

Canada has one of the tightest bums to get stuff in for “regular” users, yet we still have tons of ugls distributing. They have shortages on some items, which is a Chinese production problem, but aside from that the shops are still open.

The bigger labs are using channels akin to how fentanyl and other chemicals are smuggled in.

No matter what your government does, where there is money to be made, someone will bring your contrabands in with a premium of course.

It will suck for the small guy in the meantime but I will say this again, people with a slight common sense or have been in this game for a bit already have stocked up even before any hints of shortages.

Shein’s and Temu’s prices will get hit even harder by the new de minimis rule

CBP previously told CNN it processes “nearly 4 million duty-free de minimis shipments a day.” Research indicates that a majority of those shipments come from China and Hong Kong. In total, over the last fiscal year, CBP said 1.36 billion packages came to the United States under the de minimis exemption.

When Trump’s executive order goes into effect on August 29, most goods shipped internationally will be subject to the tariffs of the country of origin. Those duties will be about $80 per item for a country with a tariff rate less than 16%, $160 per item for a country of a tariff rate between 16% and 25%, $200 per item for a country with a tariff rate above 25%. Some of that cost could be passed down to consumers.

my country is in the eu and 50-70% of eu domestics dont wanna deliver to my country.

we love china tho not a single chinese source who dosent deliver here!

and funny enough only packs i ever had seized was domestic. im never ordering from those fuckers pretending to be high quality again.

You routinely speak with authority.

But you are missing the point about these other countries.

The nature of United States Dollar hegemony demands the US import a shit ton of everything. Over 75% of all foreign exchange is settled in United States Dollars - something like $100 trillion a year. The breadth of US total financial dominance is not well understood by most.

The US exports dollars. The only way this system works is if the US imports shit from other countries. I don't see how "watertight" customs can ever work.

And then there is the international drug trade, which has long been facilitated and tolerated by the government as it was a way to handle "hot money" and drive it into the US financial system.
I think you're assuming people making these decisions understand the gravity of anything they do. Those days are sailing by or have left already, this will hit and I'd assume far faster than many expect with de minimus ending.

Package volume down 85%.

Think that'll make it easier to inspect parcel traffic?

I wonder how rooted we are in Australia. They are spending big bucks next year to stop illegal tobacco importation which has cut tax revenue in half.

i just got hit with "duty fees" from a package from S.Korea, i had to pay extra to get my package released from ups,,

I had a S.KR pack delivered last month from UPS -- no extra fees.
DHL pack from China however was hit with huge fees -- i abandoned and it was disposed. The seller did not want it back, apparently they had to pay the fees to get it released lol

Do you have the fee breakdown?
Is it a handling fee for UPS or duty payment for imported goods?

im not american and even i watched this, they traded to from 25% tariff to a 15% between s.korea and usa on the 31st july? around there.

usps isnt gonna eat up the costs for you.

apparently india and eu is next so i would stock up alot of indian pct stuff if i were american

wait until you realize you have to pay 50% on half of everything you usually buy. thank your president trump.

You're right. It's better to let other countries charge ultra-high tariffs on US goods to protect their manufacturers and jobs, making our products so expensive they can't be sold, while we progressively go bankrupt buying theirs, for which little to no tariffs are charged.

That's fair.

its strange because i had another pack from same vendor delivered without extra fees,,

it was a duty fee for imported goods, the original package cost$66, the duty fee was $62, way outrageous even the vendor said send it back, but i need the contents of the package and don't wanna wait for it to be resolved , if ever,,

I work at a US Company that buys parts for machinery globally. There are very few domestic suppliers of these parts so tariffs are inevitable.

All those tariffs say that they're going against the sellers of those foreign parts which looks great on paper. But guess who actually pays?

That's right -- The US COMPANY is eating the tariffs! Sounds like it makes any sense? Ya, me either!

Former Trump Supporter but wondering wtf is going on. Hoping Elon is wrong about what's coming. But he gets almost everything right?

(Still a Hillary Hater)
Preach! The Democratic Party brought us massive food inflation. There were many global inflationary forces at play, outside of government control, but right as the economy was starting to catch fire, the Democrats passed the Build Back Better Act which dumped trillions of dollars into an already overheating economy. The result, 5 dollar eggs and insane food inflation.

The Democrats became a collection of special interests, 20 somethings with outstanding college loans, LGBT, single moms, and groups like BLM. Working families (like mine) got screwed.

I supported Trump because he promised to bring inflation under control but tariffs on Mexico and China have only made things more expensive. I love Cowboy boots made in Mexico but they are doubling in price.

The slow march of policies tightening the noose has been slowly put into place over the last 5 years, and we're just seeing the end stages of it,

1. End tax free imports via de minimus: 70% reduction in volume of packages. Much smaller volume to focus on.

2. Require 20x the detail previously required in customs paperwork, and it must be submitted electronically prior to arrival. Patterns are recognized by computer analysis, packages are flagged for extra scrutiny and automatic systems kick that pack off the conveyor belt to CBP officer for inspection. Your previous seizure will be a data element in the "risk score" when your address appears as the recipient in the data sent to CBP.

3. Enforce the regulation that shipping companies must establish positive ID of shipper. Like banking "KYC", know your customer requirements.

4. Make shipping company financially liable for false declarations on packages containing illegal items.

5. Require shipping. companies to deposit $1,000,000+ bonds with CBP for duties and FINES.

6. Impose escalating fines for each package found with illegal drugs, starting at $10,000, rising to $500,000. Additional fines if the sender wasn't positively ID'd.

Now shipping companies in China require ID, and have their own "mini customs" scanning packs prior to accepting them. If they accept packs from companies unfamiliar to them at all.

Obviously some small quantities of packs are still getting through, but the few vendors left sending schedule III Drugs are using multiple shipping lines, knowing as soon as one pack is caught, that line is
burned for them.. Eventually they will run out of shipping options. Sooner or later billion dollar logistics firms will get the authorities in China to do something to the shippers of illegal goods fucking up their business.

It's about finding pressure points and pushing them, using data and AI to focus inspection resources on suspicious packs, motivating shipping companies to police themselves via huge fines, not hand examining every pack like it's 1950.

My question, raw powders have all dried up, yet GH and weight loss drugs are cheaper than ever?

well production is very much on the lower side now, but everything besides primo you can find from domestic labs. they hoard everything that comes out of china/india pretty much.

its really just primo thats hard to get but theres still a tens of kilogram coming out of china of it.

I've looked mostly at the big international Chinese suppliers but domestically I have found primarily finished oils. Only one domestic source had test c and there are some questions (has not been sent to Janoshic) about its quality.

I would ask what domestic source has all these raws but I know I would be met with "search stupid."

if theres only 1kg raws left, are u gonna make 1000 vials and sell them each for 30$ (30k usd) or are gonna sell 1kg raw for 10000usd?

thanks you answered yourself if you can answer this.

but yeah most domestic sources in this forum carry stuff right now. will take max 5 min to find what u need even primo or mast and its probably turn out legit
