Last I read, there wasn’t really any support in the data for alcohol swabbing “visibly clean skin” before IM vaccine injections based on adverse outcomes when it wasn’t done. So yeah the list of potential baddies is long, but so what if they rarely cause problems?

On the other hand, when my Golden Retriever licks my arm, the skin is left “visibly clean” and I can all but hear the germs hungrily teeming there.

Also on the other hand: the incidence rate of infections may be low, but how many times a day are some of us injecting? Compared to vaccination rates per capita, we each may experience an entire city’s worth of injection events every year.

(Note: I always swab, but my immune system is also pharmacologically modulated.)

Quick Update Moving Forward:

Hey brothers, starting tomorrow we’re switching up the way we package. Temps are gonna start dropping soon, so we figured it’s best to get ahead of it. Orders will now go out in insulated thermal mailers that are about 1.5x thicker than what we’ve been using. Should help keep the high concentrations from crashing and add extra protection in case USPS decides to play kickball with your pack (hasn’t happened yet, knock on wood).

On top of that, we’ll start slipping a simple order summary inside each pack. No more digging through old screenshots or scrolling your phone, you can crack it open and see exactly what’s inside.

Appreciate any feedback on the changes. Always looking to make things better.

I hope you are joking. I know someone who also didn’t clean the injection area for several years. It was fine until one day it wasn’t. Which resulted in surgery to remove the infected tissue and significant downtime.
I saw Chase Irons actively promote not swabbing because he’s been doing it for decades and…wait for it…”never had a problem”.

Come to think of it, my house has never been destroyed. Guess this homeowner’s insurance is a waste of money.

Staphylococcus among other germs live on our skin. Which is fine until you get it inside your body via injection. I’m not annal about most things but cleaning the injection site, the tops of vials and using new needles are a requirement 100% of the time.

That's really the crux of the argument around filtering.

While the occasional tiny blood vessel asymptomatically going necrotic because of a subvisible chunk of rubber stopper causing a microembolism may not amount to much, and your immune system may calm down after tickling your lymph nodes with a few rHGH aggregates, we, as a group, inject more volume than the most hardcore addict or sickest patient.

Harm = Risk x Exposure

If in 10 or 20 years a link is made between heavy UGL injectable drug use and some fucked up cumulative health damage, normies would be neither surprised nor sympathetic. "What did they expect?".

I was present in your mom's intraluminal compartment, and there was swelling and reddening.
