always have thought the older you are take before bed as you dont produce much of it anymore. Im not in my 20's Im in my 50's. However I workout 7am fasted so will switch shot to before workout now and see if any difference. I mainly take hgh for the anti aging purposes. Only take 4iu max usually 2iu
I also train with weights on an empty stomach at 6:00 a.m.

Personally, I do this: last solid meal at 7:00-8:00 p.m. I sleep, wake up at 5:00 a.m., drink 2 liters of water, take 10 units of GH, during training I take an intra-workout with 20 EAAs + 50 Dextrose, and post-workout I use rapid insulin with meal number 1.

I drink coffee when I wake up before gym. Would you do shot when i wake up or wait til I leave for the gym a hour later? Usually pwo shake usually around 9am workout 7am wake up 6am

It doesn't change much, take it as soon as you wake up, drink your coffee and go to the gym anyway, you take advantage of the GH peak

why you take GH before bed?
Obviously, you wake up with high blood sugar and discomfort.

Switch your pre-workout shot or, at the very least, your first thing in the morning, especially if you can't control your blood sugar.
Re: HGH and high blood sugar the morning after,
Are you implying that overnight HGH increases absorption of whatever carbohydrates were in your gut when you fell asleep, or that HGH increases gluconeogenesis beyond what is necessary for basal bodily function?

I've never experienced this on HGH, would love to see a comparison of morning blood sugar for those on GH who go to sleep after an evening meal vs those in a fasted state (or even, god forbid, one of those crazy keto people).
@Ghoul you know of any studies like this?

Many people like to take their entire GH dose before bed. From what I've seen, high doses (10 units and up) have problems with morning blood sugar. I'm speaking for myself, as I work out on an empty stomach as soon as I wake up. It's a different story for someone who wakes up and perhaps does cardio on an empty stomach and then manages to lower their blood sugar, and perhaps also takes Lantus.

I see much more benefit from taking GH pre-workout.

If you're advanced, you can also add fasting insulin with an intra-workout shake.

And take a second dose of GH post-workout + more insulin.

Personally, these are my favorite times where I see the most results from GH.

It's not a law. I accept those who take it before bed, but if there are side effects, I don't see any point in it, unless you want to take Metformin lenta 500/1G + berberine + ALA and other GDAs.

I'll soon be trying RETA for the first time. I don't have any problems with blood sugar. , but I like to study and apply on my body before suggesting something to some guy

Reta is an awesome cheat code, for fatties and for athletes. Its activity at the GIC and GCG receptors should narrow your blood sugar limits, and put you in a 24/7 state of minor ketosis and gluconeogenesis. If you're not already <5-6% BF and hitting your protein minimum, your body will constantly produce enough ketones and glucose to power everything, regardless of the rest of your diet. It's pretty fuckin cool.

I would be more concerned about higher peaks of blood sugar than a simple elevation when I wake up.

People are too concerned with fasted blood sugars when it doesn't paint the whole picture
