The guys were on parole I think. I watch the parole revocation hearings and just getting arrested is sufficient to revoke, so the state may not bother to prosecute minor crimes because of that.

Even when they don't get revoked, they sit in jail for the better part of a year just waiting for a hearing, a stiffer penalty than most first time offenders would get for possession.

I'ma let you all in on a little secret, 99% of cops don't give a shit about steroids in the slightest but don't put them in the position of having to do something about it because a whole lot of discretion went the way of the dodo when body cameras came about.

10 years ago it was "put that shit away and stop driving around with it in your car" and they'd let you keep it or at worst crush the vial under their boot on the side of the road. Now it's "my supervisor has to review at least one of our bodycam videos every shift by policy and if it's the one of me letting you go with controlled substances that are a felony I'm the one who will get fired"

Leave your shit at home. Or if you absolutely have to take them somewhere try to put your orals in a vitamin bottle or buy a label maker to put some "B12" labels on your Primo/Test whatever to give some plausible deniability.

I didn't say they wouldn't do something about it, I said they may HAVE to do something about it even if most don't personally care about them.

And since you got such a hard on for "harm reduction" you might try to knock the dicks out your eyeballs and re read the part where I encouraged people to not put cops in the position of having to arrest you for something they don't think should be illegal. And furthermore advised to not carry shit around in your car or take efforts to make it not super fucking obvious what they are. Which is more harm reduction than anyone, including you, has provided in this thread.
