The majority of Quest facilities are exclusively for phlebotomy. The blood is sent from those to a smaller number of labs for analysis, and not every lab is set up for every analysis.Pretty sure all Quest facilities don't share the same instrument
For ultra sensitive estradiol they actually do. Look it up. The folks at HQ didn’t factor in / don’t care about the growing number of PED users who order this test (no life threatening medical reason to order this assay) so there’s no real reason to upgrade / expand (if I were the ceo I’d be jacking up the price even more), especially when the entire market is cornered in a duopoly with LabCorp who similarly doesn’t give a shit about estradiol, IGF-1, DHT levels coming back any time soonPretty sure all Quest facilities don't share the same instrument
Mine came back in a little over a week with Labcorp too.Got my ultra sensitive estradiol test back in about nine days. Just came in yesterday morning. Used LabCorp.
good to know. Seems LabCorp is slightly more difficult to work with (what I’ve heard from vendors who let you order your own bloods). I did use a service in the past that used LabCorp and U/S E2 was very fast to come back. DHT and lipid particles took 3 weeks thoMine came back in a little over a week with Labcorp too.
Just talked to a gym buddy who had blood draw Tuesday via Quest and everything was reported by late last night, including Estradiol Ultrasensitive LC/MS (which was done at the SJ Capistrano facility we mentioned). Last thing to be complete was IGF-1 LC/MS.good to know. Seems LabCorp is slightly more difficult to work with (what I’ve heard from vendors who let you order your own bloods). There’s a thread on here with some good third party sites to help reduce the cost through quest. When I checked it looked like a 40% savings over Labcorp. Might be worth a look?Labcorp is superior (it’s closer to my house than quest)
they need to start from the top first then! lol got my bloods taken 8/28 still waiting on the estradiol- everything else in.Just talked to a gym buddy who had blood draw Tuesday via Quest and everything was reported by late last night, including Estradiol Ultrasensitive LC/MS (which was done at the SJ Capistrano facility we mentioned). 4-5 day turnaround, I guess they got their machine and staffing problems fixed.
@CHIEF M @DeodatoFulci @AllGoodThings @Elektrobot @anabullic can't remember who else was in this discussion or waiting on labs.
Regular E2 can give inaccurate results if you're on certain medications, including some aromatase inhibitors, just FYI. Ultrasensitive is the way to go.I had got my estro back in a few hours didn’t need the ultra sensitive coach didn’t ask or request me to get
Legit. Thank you!Just talked to a gym buddy who had blood draw Tuesday via Quest and everything was reported by late last night, including Estradiol Ultrasensitive LC/MS (which was done at the SJ Capistrano facility we mentioned). Last thing to be complete was IGF-1 LC/MS.

Yeah I know but it was at 55… 15 points above normal and im only doing 25mg total weekly of aromasinRegular E2 can give inaccurate results if you're on certain medications, including some aromatase inhibitors, just FYI. Ultrasensitive is the way to go.
Yeah that is odd.they need to start from the top first then! lol got my bloods taken 8/28 still waiting on the estradiol- everything else in.
They definitely don't go in order. In any given testing thread you can see guys reporting various wait times with various draw days that never line up in any sensible order.they need to start from the top first then! lol got my bloods taken 8/28 still waiting on the estradiol- everything else in.
I got the bodybuilders panel from privatemd pulled at Quest Thursday morning. Waiting on Test, US E2, and IGF. Happy to update here when I get results to give everyone an idea of time frame.Just talked to a gym buddy who had blood draw Tuesday via Quest and everything was reported by late last night, including Estradiol Ultrasensitive LC/MS (which was done at the SJ Capistrano facility we mentioned). I’ll look into it. The savings would have to be pretty good to justify the drive to my nearest quest, its kinda far and not in an area I go to often. There’s a thread on here with some good third party sites to help reduce the cost through quest. When I checked it looked like a 40% savings over Labcorp. Might be worth a look?
