Old guys..what's the craziest practice that was normal years ago but is insane now?

Who said that I have an eating dissorder and run GLP medications? Some of us just recognize that medicine can help people, whether it’s TRT for low test, thyroid for hypothyroid, or GLP-1s for obesity. You don’t have to use something to understand it has value, unless, of course, your worldview is limited to whatever’s in your syringe.

The irony here is that you’re happy to justify your own stack with ‘medical reasons’ when it suits you, but the second someone else uses a tool to improve their health, suddenly it’s weakness. That’s not discipline talking, that’s insecurity.

He's one of these guys that attributes the fact his scrawny ass had to be forcefed welfare cheese as a kid to his superior willpower, not a biologically weak appetite.

Everyone, doctors included, who's experienced the silencing of "food noise" has had the epiphany it's the body's chemical balance, not strength of character that predominantly determines weight. The status of being seen as a superior human is being stolen from him by these GLPs.

You know, Like the skinny dude in filthy clothes sweeping up around the gas station. His rail thin Auschwitz physique is a clear sign of his superior willpower.

Now that a weekly hormone injection can replace a dysfunctional appetite with one that's satiated after the appropriate amount of calories are consumed, how can anyone instantly recognize his superiority over fatties? It's just not fair.

Just out of curiosity for our "seasoned" members...What were some steroid practices that were considered the standard in your day that people would think you are crazy if you did now?

IE coming completely off between every cycle, cycle "bridging" with orals, oral only cycles, etc.
I remember my first go around at 27 and went to the doctor and prescribed me anavar , Searle brand 2.5mg and dosed at 2 a day. And paying $17 for 100 tab dbol 5mg tabs pyramid cycle start at 5 tritate up to 15mg stay there for 2 weeks and work your way back down.

Then I met the gang when I moved to Corpus Christi and started working out with some real hard core lifters and the most recognizable one to most was Rick Gaugler.

One of the guys in the group had his cycle theory that went like this, "if bladder don't splatter and your liver don't quiver just up the dose as it don't matter!" Crazy bunch but were the pioneers of upping dosages and basically the guinea pigs on PEDs!

What is my stack? You uss glps because you cant control your calorie intake period, your appetite controls and consumes you.

The guy who was keen enough to look into the supply chain of these life changing products and warned the entire community about changes that could lead to dramatic changes in availability and price. So that the users and also the vendors who were willing to listen could get ahead while it was still possible. Which is what’s happening as we speak.

Not to glaze him. I had to humble myself and admit I was wrong about his warnings too. Just highlighting that you’re not fooling anyone but yourself with some of your statements like “Relying on drugs is bad!!!” On a steroid forum.

Fuck that. I’m going to reliantly inject this test, EQ, ment, Tirz and bpc/tb straight into my ass. And if something else life changing comes out you bet your little birdbrain Ima inject that too.
 
We live in a world where hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people die every year of obesity related causes. They literally invented a miracle drug that stands to extend the lives of millions of people.

If your take on that is “something something weak people *fart noise*” you are functionally an anti-humanity ghey person who does not want civilization to thrive. Might as well go ahead and trans yourself while you’re at it.

I’ve never used a glp. That is all.

PCT and gyno broscience was mostly discussed back in the day.
12 week cycles, no bp meds,
tren was 500mg minimum
pins harder to get than gear, 18 gaugers
oral only dbol , no estrogen testing
a lot of dirty bulking to get the most out of your 12 week cycle
 
Training for 3 hours/day without a phone attached to your pie hole and not resting for more than 90 seconds between sets, other than Squats and Deads .
2025: 30 second sets followed by 15 minute phone break.
Total time in gym, 45 mins. Actual hard workout intensity~ 7mins

It's a lot easier to stay off your phone with those 30-45 sec rest periods :p

I noticed nearly no one in my entire gym does short rest periods like that though, seems to have fallen out of favor. Feel like I'd be in the gym fucking forever if I didn't keep rest to 30-60 sec and use supersets judiciously.

My only problem with glp's is all of the shrunken titties as a result. Very sad indeed.

Your stack is 500mg ignorance, 250mg hypocricy, 250mg presumptuousness and on top daily 50mg Anadumb and 50mg oxandrowussy.

If I would take a GLP med, I would deploy it to improve my insulin sensitivity and other health markers. It's a no brainer. Like a test base is a staple in bb. I eat exactly what I plan to eat and I don't have any issues with that. Decreased hunger signaling is just a nice add on (during a cut) to something that is improving your health outcomes. You are doing yourself short not understanding and recognizing the benefits of those drugs. Maybe you don't know enough about them and have not read about it but claim to have an expert opinion? That my friend, is the Dunning Kruger Effect. And you are definetely coming off as an idiot right now to the people who actually know a lot about GLPs. You're making a clown out of yourself.

How is that life changing?you'd probably look better, and be healthier, with 400mg of test and actually moving and eating right. There is a reason why most guys who blast 7 drugs look like shit, not lean, distended gut, shitty proportions...while naturala who don't abuse aas look good. You cant out drug shitty genetics and laziness

I'll try and post as often as I can, those were some fun and crazy days! Trained hard and played hard. Before moving to Corpus Christi and was trading in McAllen Tx had the pleasure of knowing and training under the guidance of Don Ausmus a great bodybuilder ahead of his time!
 
About the only thing I did right was my first cycle : Bayer Testoviron depot , 500mg week for 12 weeks. The pip was so frigin bad, I said to hell with this testosterone, let’s try something else lmao.
It was Schering Testoviron back then, not Bayer. The rebranding happened in the early 2010’s. I have to mention this because I’m a pedantic bastard.

I don’t remember that at all. Most forum users stuck to 400-600mg, although there was a relatively short-lived fad in the early 2010’s for high tren & very low (or even no) test.
 
If you need to use a hardcore drug daily to mot be fat...you should be accepting advice from anyone who isn't fat. The basics aren't hard.

Hardcore drug :,). How do you define a hardcore drug? I'd say high risk, strongly addictive and potentially very harmful. I'd say it's more than confirmed now that you have no subject matter knowledge at all. You're just ranting dumb stuff. I bet you are below 18 and trying to be tough. The thing is.. You come across as really really dumb and silly. Nobody here thinks that your point of view has any merrit to it. It's just you, wasting your time trying to achieve what?

Its interesting to see how people who use aas...lack the simple discipline to eat right and rely on a drug to "correct " their lack of basic human discipline. I guess I find it fascinating and it helps me understand why many use aas yet don't look the part. Id like to think that aas users actually put effort into diet and training but sadly the stereotypes are true i guess that guys jist use drugs to make up for piss poor diet or training...imo the drugged up guy who can't eat right almost always look less impressive than a natural who knows how to eat loke a bodybuilder should
