Anxiety on gh

Hi guys, I’m using 2 IU of GH along with my TRT (205 mg testosterone cypionate per week split into three subq injections: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday).

This past week I’ve been taking 3 IU and one day I even pushed it to 4. Each dose includes the full daily amount, taken pre-workout at 4 PM, away from meals, no split.

Lately I’ve been feeling a sort of generalized anxiety. I sometimes deal with mild anxiety without an apparent reason, but this time it feels different, like a constant lump in my throat. I noticed it became stronger when I shifted my GH dose to daytime instead of bedtime, and even more pronounced after increasing from 2 to 3–4 IU.

I’m starting to think GH itself is giving me this slight anxious feeling. I know a lot of this can also be psychological, but has anyone else ever experienced something similar? I’ve occasionally come across a few reports of it, but nobody ever went into detail. Maybe the higher circulating T3 could play a role? Who knows…

My estradiol is at 34, so perfectly in range (at least as of July 29). I’m waiting on the latest bloodwork results, which should come in between Monday and Wednesday.

Dont smoke , just one coffe and 20 gr of cocoa in the morning.. I tried also to cut cocoa and caffeine for some day.. no different.. im pretty sure this is fault of gh..
Could be. More likely just a coincidence and you're jumping to conclusions. 3-4iu isn't a particularly big dose.

I also find this to happen. Some or most people probably don’t notice it though unless they are baseline more anxious.

It’s precisely because I never paid attention when I was only taking 2 IU… and I’ve been using GH for a couple of months, and indeed, for a couple of months I’ve been feeling this slight anxiety.
Now that I’ve increased the dose, but especially moved it to daytime, I feel it much more pronounced.
try to stop and see how it goes, but I also wanted to hear some experiences from other users here on the forum.

Another question I have is whether using GH every other day would make sense.

I would too, I haven’t found a good explanation.
I think it’s due to the excess of T3… this is what ChatGPT says about the side effects of too much T3.

  • T3 is the most active thyroid hormone and speeds up metabolism.
  • High levels increase adrenergic tone (catecholamine activity), meaning sympathetic nervous system activity → palpitations, nervousness, restlessness, insomnia, tremors, and anxiety.
Common symptoms of excess T3:
  • Anxiety or restlessness
  • Palpitations or rapid heartbeat
  • Excessive sweating
  • Insomnia
  • Unexplained weight loss

That’s an interesting idea

It's not the gh. Look for stressors or changes in your life.

This surely plays some role, but I have to say that lately everything is going as it should… I considered GH as the last hypothesis, but reading here and there about someone experiencing the same things, and noticing the worsening with the increase of GH, I can tell you that the cause is 100% that.

Is your HGH from a reputable source with COA?

well i guess just deal with it , it may taper off as you do the hgh longer? How long have you been on the hgh?

that's plenty of time for things to stabilize, maybe try morning injections fasted
I think that the more I shift the administration during the day, the more I feel it, precisely because I’m awake during the peak… before, I was taking it before bed and I had far fewer of these sides, since the GH peak and almost its whole presence in the blood would happen while I was asleep.

But I have to say that with this pre-workout administration all at once, I’m getting better results in terms of lipolysis and water retention.
