I was placing an order for these guys using cash app and got a message that my account has been closed . Is this happening on all platforms ? What other platforms do you guys use to buy bitcoin. TIA

Nothing special.
Just don't send direct to vendors, always use a external wallet in between.
I do not re-use wallets either. 1 exodus wallet per transaction.

So if you buy several times a year, do you create 1 wallet every time you buy something? I’ve been using exodus with my shopping but I always use the same wallet. Sorry to bother you with this but I don’t have too much knowledge about this. I’ve been doing this: CashApp -> Exodus -> Vendor wallet

why? Can't you just tell it to create a new BTC address each time?

You can.
But each new BTC address is linked to each other.
With one BTC address i can see your past transactions.
With a new wallet, you can't.

i’m not Chief, but i did place an order the with transaction ID Wed or Thurs of last week and haven’t heard back yet.
i hate to be that guy, i would have been patient, but you mentioned you replied to all emails.

In my experience he doesn’t send a confirmation email. Just sends the tracks once it ships

same here. but it usually comes a little quicker than this time around.
i’m prob just spazzing because all the 3 letter sources turned the lights off.
Sorry for little delay in providing trackings as the entire market is using the UAE post the shippers are little short on man power even after working 12-14 hours a day , I will be sharing trackings with respective customers in 4-5 hours ,
