Howdy all,

Mid-40s, arriving at PEDs for the second time after starting TRT this year. I've spent long periods in the gym off an on since my teens, and I've been back in the gym the last year or so. This time around I have more of an interest in bodybuilding.

I did one cycle in the past, in my early twenties, and I've now entered another one, much better informed and otherwise equipped to do it in a more effective and healthier way.

Stoked to learn as much as I can here!

I’m currently on what many would call TRT+ — 200mg test, 140mg primo, 6IU GH — and getting a great response. Plan to titrate up as needed.

For blood work, the usual suspects -- CBC, CMP, lipid panel, apo-B, free/total testosterone and E2 LCMS -- along with cystatin C, GGT, fasting insulin + c-peptide, c-reactive protein, homocysteine, ferritin + iron.

Do you ever check your IGF?

Not regularly; my understanding is that serum IGF-1 isn't a good indicator of IGF-1 activity in the muscle.
We check it for health reasons, and to get an idea of how we respond to certain doses.

Did you do baseline natty IGF before starting GH?

Haha, it’s been between 180 and 230 ng/mL every time. I haven’t checked since bumping the GH and switching to a combination of UGL and pharma a month or so ago.
