Liska once wrote something about keeping a stratetgic bought Primo raw reserve. He offered 1kg for around 9k€ AFAIR.
I hope he put some of that away in a safe place. At the time he will get out, his stash will have risen in price more than his BTC.

Never much understood the Primo craze.

I think Primo + EQ recently got popular from social media "influencers"?
Back in the day, nobody was talking about Primo. People ran EQ but it wasn't the most popular thing.

Test/Tren/Mast was the big thing.

Can't speak for what the pro scene or IRL scene in places like UK/Middle East is, only in terms of online communities.

I remember back in 2005ish, guys like AGCL, GLP, Leo Liang, etc.

Leo and Green Leaf (right before ORD) were offering kg of testosterones for $450, and everything really was 98%+ lol, and you could get it tested over at SRCS in utah(?) for like $100

for what i can tell, they love everything in middle east.

testosterone, deca, eq, primo, masteron. also anavar winstrol is big hit there.

tren etc not so much. they just love to run the milder stuff for extremely high dosages. average enhanced guy on 3.5g of total aas? kinda common.

offseason cycle? thats our prep cycle down there.

Wife is/was an IFBB Pro, he got into BB'ing in the 80's. Was out in Phoenix, AZ and the West Coast.

Told me that Dan Duchaine got him and a bunch of other guys all hooked on Nubain, lol. Had some wild stories.

I did an hour-long interview with him that was posted a long time ago on another board, but unfortunately lost to time now =/

Yes that is true! Had a couple of friends who dabbled in it and I remember telling them stay away from that shit! They wanted to try it to get past the pain barrier. I told part of this game is pain and if you can't deal with it get out. Well long story short they ended up drug rehab!

those prices are wild compared to what we have know. i swear the way norms were relaxing about gear, i never expected there to be real sourcing anxiety for the average Joe bodybuilder heading into 2026.

As for SRCS, thanks to the strong £ & weak $ back then, it cost about £45 inc shipping per test.

Leo took my cherry.

Bain and GHB was huge back then, I had a chat back in the day with Romano how he kicked the habit (worse than coke and meth imo, due to the fact that was readily available in bb circles and everyone and their mother was on the stuff).

If we exclude the current dry season, things are FAR more easier today. No more WU and secret words and wait a month IF the stuff comes. SSB kicked the era of open forum sourcing (and paid the price) that goes on today.

Prices ARE not the same though. Inflation must come into play so it was about 40% pricier back then.

Today it's all about peptides. Gear is back to the basics with higher dosages and the hot new thing is GLPs and peptides.

SSB kicked the era of open forum sourcing (and paid the price) that goes on today

The old Gade, Bolex, EliteFitness, even old Meso all predated SSB by at least a half decade. Meso used to be the Wild West as it came to open sourcing lol. Outlaw muscle was also pretty big back then too

What killed SSB was their owner being a huge source. Always surprised me that GymRat got popped but I don’t ever recall Nordic (raw source that started OutlawMuscle) gettin got
