ez bar curls

no squats due to knee issue but i did see for the first time the zercher squat so going to try that

anyone else train at home with limited equipment? any suggestions to improve what im doing?

Brother you have enough equipment to get a workout in, you just have to bet creative.

Low pulley
Tricep kickbacks
Skull crushers
Front/side shoulder raises
Upright rows
Seated rows
Shrugs

Upper pulleys
Reverse grip pull downs

Items to invest in
Adjustable dumbells- I bought ironmaster
Leg press/hack squat combo- found used

Try various exercises with wide grip and narrow grips to active different parts of muscle group. Search online no shortage of excerises I missed

Thanks for the suggestions

How are your adjustable dumbells holding up? For some reason I've always been concerned about reliability

There's a youtube channel, the guy's name is JT, and he has a bunch of legit body weight exercise videos

I was dubious and he's definitely on gear, but some of the intermediate & advanced movements are pretty hard core

Sorry about that, just saw the reply. I love them. The ironmaster adjustables are all metal, no plastic clips to break like the bow flex. I’ve used powerblock dumbells before but felt like at certain angles it would interfere with my wrists.

Can even get add on kits to 160lb? Each. I have the first add on kit to take it up to 120lb each. Cons: price they are very pricey

I bought the base set used the hell out of them for a few years then decided to buy the add on. Took the sting out buying them separately

I prefer the solitude of working out at home. So it’s worth the expense of buying equipment especially if I can find good used equipment. Check FB marketplace, Craigslist still gets postings. Sounds stupid but pick things up as you go, like I said originally you have plenty of equipment and check out the site Alex sent.

Accumulate stuff over time 100%

You don't need a home gym fully furnished with Hammer Strength and Nautilus equipment from day 1 to get started

Cheers, I'd rather pay more for something that lasts

Im not that interested in strength but that's really handy you can buy add on's if you out grow the base

I've had a set of cheap 1" spinner clip style adjustable dumbells from amazon for several years and they've held up very well. Can easily add weight with any 1 inch plates. In case you're looking for a more budget friendly option than the more advanced powerblock style.

Maybe santa will be good to me and deliver a nice set of fully adjustable dumbells

I have a set like this too. Each dumbbell adjusts up to 20lbs more if you find additional plates. I use them to loosen up and warm up. They have a smaller footprint than the ironmaster dumbells so certain excercises feel better with them too.

I can't believe I didn't post this here

This guy on youtube has a ton of body weight exercise videos - and I'm not kidding - some of them are 100% legit and you can do high intensity (which was my main concern)

dude looks like he's on the sauce which doesn't help his case, but some of his videos changed my opinions about body weight training

I love outside of the box stuff like this. Sometimes it’s nice to break up the routine and shock the muscles with something new. I just subscribed so I wouldn’t forget about it.
