After mixing with bac water, how long do you keep using without noticeable degrading?

Ive just read online it should be used within 30 days

Ive a 60mg vial mixed that will last me considerably longer depending on dosage. Even the highest recommended dosage wouldnt be used within 30 days

The FDA/Pharma standard is that BAC protects for 30 days. But this is undoubtedly conservative. They have to account for repeated punctures in worst case scenario environments introducing more
bacteria with multiple punctures daily, like a multi-dose vaccine vial,

I think if you're using Hospira, and practicing basic aseptic technique, there's no realistic chance of bacterial growth taking hold for a very long time. Like a year or more. It's not as if the Benzyl Alcohol inactivates allowing bacterial growth.

What will cause degradation long before then is basic peptide instability or aggregation, due to less than ideal conditions (ph), exposure to light, agitation, exposure to room temp, reactions with oxygen in the vial, etc.

If you have an empty vial sitting around you could always split the bottle and freeze one of them. I never heard of anyone freezing it but chat gtp says it makes it last along time. We are in crazy times with these peptide companies making vials with a lot MGs in them. I was using reta at 1mg a week split in 2 doses. I was buying 5mg vials of it because I didn't want it going bad. The crazy thing about reta is that it didn't really kill the food noise that much at that dose so I wouldn't really know right away if my 20mg vial was loosing potency over time. Ive never bought a 20 mg vial, just using that as an example.

If u mean reconstituting then freezing that’s don’t do that.

Freezing it in it’s powders form is common and I do it. But he is talking about after reconstitution, freezing it will ruin it.

I’ve get no issues going over a month constituted with hospira.
But the real question is the potency of the Reta after that long. I havent looked into that though

I use my bac water 90 days and reta and tirz for 6 to 8 weeks after reconstituted. Been doing this with glp1s over a year without issue. I've been here since 2016 but checkout glp1 forum. It's common practice....

I’ve seen ppl keep peptides for months a time. I personally like to cap it around 6 weeks. I also just recommend buying vials that fit your usage. So you’re buying a 20 mg vials of semaglutide and you’re on 2.5mg per week that vial is gonna last you a very long time, plus it’s harder to dose smaller amounts.

My only concern would be with HGH, that’s the only time where you should be concerned about it losing potency.

I also believe ozempic pens are supposed to be used for around 8 weeks max, that’s another take on a timeline that’s supposed to be conservative. I know some even use room temp for storage.

Ive just ordered some 30mg vials off HYB so that'll cut the time reconstituted in half depending on dosage

Raw lyophilized Retatrutide peptide can be safely frozen, and you should freeze them.

lyophilized peptides like Retatrutide are literally created by freezing them first.

Btw I freeze my reta and currently using it.

Only exception IMO is HCG, it's too fragile, freezing damages subunit integrity

I know someone that had a wegovy pen. Box said it was good for 1 year refrigerated and 28 days at room temperature. I do read everywhere reta is good refrigerated reconstituted for 30 days. Ive gone up to 60 and felt it was still potent.

I believe like insulin pens the expiration date is based on the unopened pen. Once used I think there is a countdown on how long it can be used (recommended guideline by the company)
