I cannot fully answer your question since I do not know Sky Blue International at all. But guessing from how you got to know them, it is highly likely a scam. Sorry man.
Getting a contact of a supplier from anonymous forum is the first wrong move. It seems Skyblue International Ltd. really exists and possibly a legit seller but 1 year old account is better be avoided unless an item you want is available only from the supplier.
Even if you get the contact from someone on this forum, you should do double check on their website or Indiamart profile. There are many fake agent accounts like Chinese vendors. Even on Indiamart they have fake vendors. Indiamart use to have buyers protection like Alibaba but India has 10 times scammers to China, so eventually they stooped the service and Indiamart is infamous that they just care about their own money.
Another note is that Indian vendors tend to be sloppy in their work compared to our standard. Communication is slow, don't really answer your questions, they claim they will send or ship soon but takes days easily. That is often from their high leniency for dishonesty. Of course it depends on person but when you encounter those people, do not be upset and just push and push.
Finally, I am sorry if your supplier was really a scammer. I really hope not.
