I might be wrong, but i think the Test E in the latest batches was clear, its the Test C that's pissy.
I am not defending but full disclosure, as someone who bought a few big vials from this batch, I admit I want this to be true.

This is from ChatGPT:

A slight yellow tint in a vial of testosterone cypionate suspended in MCT oil is not usually concerning, and here’s why:
Normal Reasons for Yellow Tint
  1. Natural oxidation: Over time, even in sealed vials, minor oxidation can cause a pale yellow hue. This is common if the vial has been stored for months or exposed to small amounts of air during use.
  2. Oil type: MCT oil itself can vary slightly in color from clear to light yellow depending on the source and refinement process.
  3. Compound or carrier reactions: Testosterone cypionate and the benzyl alcohol/benzyl benzoate often used in formulations can produce a faint tint over time.
Possible Causes for Concern

You should only be concerned if any of these are true:
  • The color has changed significantly (e.g., from clear to dark yellow or brown).
  • The oil appears cloudy, milky, or has particulates floating in it.
  • There’s sediment or the solution looks like it has separated.
  • It smells different (strong rancid or chemical odor).
  • The vial was not sterile or has been reused, heated, or opened for a long period.
If the vial has been exposed to high temperatures or light for long periods, mild discoloration can occur, but that alone doesn’t mean it’s unsafe — as long as the oil is still clear, uniform, and particle-free.

umm i dont have a dog in this fight but ive had test c come both completely clear and at other times with an orange/yellow tint. Never had an issue with either or. I just always assumed some color variation was probably normal. is this not the case with other hormones?

I posted some comparison photos a few pages back. Here's another one with my attempt to use natural lighting.

1. The vial on the left is what DHB 100mg/mL in MCT should look like. Clear.

2. The vial in the middle is what I would consider a 'tint' of yellow. This vial contains test E 300mg/mL.

3. And then we have the DHB 100mg/mL from Axle. This is not a tint. It's full on damaged-kidney-colored piss.

I'm sending it for GCMS testing this week but if the color is due to oxidation we may never know since Jano doesn't offer a test for that.

I'll be sending your products off for testing because piss colored DHB is not normal no matter how many times you say it is. Should you honor your reimbursement policy, you'll have another opportunity to win my future business but I gotta say, as a first time customer, I am less than impressed.

Primal has 2 batches of contaminated TRE400, hopefully you're sending off the TRE400 for GCMS before using it.

Tbh it's unlikely you'll find out why it's yellow.
There could be a thousand reasons why but all we have is GCMS testing which isn't sufficient. Unless it's due to contamination that shows up on GCMS, you'd probably never know why it's yellow (and vendors know this which is why they don't care). If it bothers you, you'd better off be looking elsewhere for a dif vendor.

This photo looks much clearer than some of the other photos that appeared more turbid.

Whats the volume of the right jar compared to the other two? Looks easily double the size. Not excusing anything, but that can be why it has a stronger hue. Also the two on the left dont have labels. Would imagine it would look darker against the white background that light cant pierce as well.

Either way, Im glad your getting your stuff tested and hopefully we all learn something from this.

It's a 20 mL vial while the other two are 10 mL. I don't see why increased volume would darken the color. If I mix yellow with yellow I still get...yellow. If I moved half of it to a 10 mL vial would it be lighter?

Regarding the label, I tried to angle it so the label wasn't a factor but either way, the color in the pic is the color I see with my eyes. It is much darker than the test E vial.

There’s a difference in the test/ai as well. The larger was just sent actually by mistake as I did order it and none of my order was sent. (I am sure Axel will straighten it out.). The smaller is at least a year old at this point. But the 10ml is much more clear. Not sure it means anything or matters. Looks like most of the test oils are a bit yellow.

Possible steps:
- Validation of compound by Jano test
- Understanding cause of yellow:
1) oxidation - no jano test to tell
2) Carrier oil color - no way to tell
3) Heat through brewing - no way to test
4) Contamination - Jano GCMS
5) Accept yellow
6) anything else?
- DHB/EQ300/EQ500 crashing
- keep using mug warmer
- any other solutions?

I just received an order of test e from another company that usually is flawlessly clear. This time however it came in with a yellow tint just like this….weird as hell.
