Should I cut first before my first cycle or do it straight away

I'm 90 kg with around 23% body fat, I'm planning to do my first blast and cruise. Should I cut a few more kilos and then do it, or just do it straight away?
blasting 500mg of test e, 250mg 2x a week, Arimidex when needed, and cruising at 150mg of test e. I'm currently on retatrutide 2 mg, so I want to know if I should cut and stay on reta as I'm on now or hop off reta and hop on test straight away.

I'm in a similar position to you mate. I started on 93 kg, about 30% body fat. Down to about 18% at the moment on Reta and TRT doses of test.

planning my first blast likely in the new year if I can shake off the last few kgs. I'd really like to minimise sides as much as possible so im trying to make sure I start in as good a position as I can. You will be doing the right thing if you do the same.

I just had to order some emergency reta from a more local source cause its stating to look like my China one has fecked me over.

Definitely drop closer to 10% BF before jumping to 500mg a week or you'll likely need a good amount of that adex. Like Djedo said, 150mg a week with Reta is good for a cut.

Once you get that 500mg running you will want to be building muscle, but in a calorie deficit you aren't gonna get the most out of it.

You need to be low fat as you can every time you go on a cycle, fat it’s not gonna help you specially with the side effects of the cycle

I'd personally cut down a bit first while you're already on the retatrutide. Maybe aim for around 10% body fat before starting the 500mg blast. Might save you from needing too much Arimidex later on. Just my two cents!

Why are you fat

How old are you?

How tall are you ?

How long have you been training

Why do you think you need test, reta and dnp to reach your goals

Why didn't you read the forum instructions and etiquette and tell us all these things in the new members section like you are supposed to?

You should cut first for multiple reasons. The first being that you are going to aromatize like a mother fucker when you are fat, and 23% bf is fat. The second being that you’re not leaving yourself much runway to actually gain. Get lean and your body will be incredibly efficient with its weight gain when you add PEDs. Starting out fat, your insulin sensitivity is gonna go to shit pretty quick.

"should i get not fat before I add a bunch of additional stress on my body that aggravates many of the same health risks that being fat does?"

I don't say this to fat shame, but to point out that this question is very basic. No, do not blast gear while being fat. Yes, if you are actually at 23% you are below the average for an american male, but the average american male isn't blasting gear and compounding their health risks. For gear using standards, you need to drop another 11-13% bf. You want to be in the 10-12 range.

Most people are way too fat to be bulking. I know this because I used to be one of those people. If you listen to guys who know a lot more than we do, like Justin Harris, he has always advised certainly competitors but even just recreational lifters to get as lean as humanly possible before bulking. Why? Everything works better when you start lean. Your body processes food more efficiently. You can handle the gear better and get less / minimal side effects.

Simple advice. No abs? no bulk.
