Accutane permanent cure?

Tip: if you've been taking ugl accutane, and are in the US, don't tell your doctor you've taken it before. They will assume you are registered with another doctor in the ipledge program, and apparently it's a much bigger pain to switch doctors in that program than to initially sign up with one. Fortunately my dermatologist NP didn't have a problem prescribing, and didn't ask too many questions when I had to explain I actually wasn't already in the system.

I mean I did technically do 2 rounds of antibiotics and few topical creams, but that was after I said no to accutane lol Thanks for the tip though, good to know.

Never had acne issues in my life, and then out of nowhere the last four months my shoulders and chest decided to rebel. Honestly, I was shocked. Threw in 20 mg of Accutane and after the first month my skin started clearing up fast and the acne dropped a lot. Plus with HGH and GHK in the mix, it should regenerate pretty nicely too. Only real side effect is dry, chapped lips. But the coolest part is not just less acne, the skin itself feels better, like the quality improved and it’s smoother overall.

Hi all,
Searched on Google, seems better take it in the morning, breakfast\dinner, because can cause insomnia.
Anyone has experienced it or confirm that claim?
Thanks

Never had issues, just take it with 20g of fat. I did an entire course on some of the highest dosages in this thread and the timing was never a problem to be honest, the half life is a few days anyway.

Currently doing 80mg splits am/pm and no 'additional insomnia' issues over my normal hurdles. I've had to titrate up and down between 80 and 120, as the sides- mostly dryness- get to be too much after a bit at 120 and coming back down to 80 for a couple weeks seems to make it more tolerable.

I'm about 35% through my course, but would very much like to be done sooner rater than later.

If your dermatologist writes you a script for it wont insurance cover it?

I swear I walked into my derms office told him I randomly started getting acne as an adult and couldnt get it to go away completely. Instantly asked me if I wanted to take accutane and be done with it, but I didnt want to take it at the time. I still dont, but if I have a flare up as bad as when I took enclomiphene again, im nuking myself on sight.

He just said its a bit annoying cuz I have to see him for the meds every refill/dosage but via telehealth. I was scared by the compound toxicity and mutant babies thing. I think they make you agree to not spreading your seed while on treatment, like signing some document or check ins. Women have to take contraceptive during treatment too I believe.

Anyways Im sure its cheaper and easier to just order india pharma, but was curious as to if it was one of those drugs that doesnt get covered due to not being a medical neccesity. Never really thought about it before, just assumed my dr asked so it would be covered lol

Typically insurance will only cover courses that follow the guidelines. Not 200mg/kg, which is mostly offered by high end, boutique, private pay dermatologists.

Even with insurance, by the time you pay for office visit, pharmacy, and lab deductibles you’ve spent more than it costs to do it yourself, without having to make time for numerous office visits.

Scalp and hair improve as well,

But it’s temporary unless you reach the cumulative dose for a permanent effect,

Seeing as I'm here I'll update, I'm about 2 and a half months since I finished my 220mg/kg cumulative dose course and everything is all good. Skin is great, no breakouts, can't remember if I posted here but I had bloodwork done just over a month after finishing and all my liver values were excellent again.

Only weird thing is NOT having dry lips any more and not having to chronically rely on aquaphor any more! Won't complain though!

How long and what dosage? I'm getting UGL Accutane just in case. I went through a course of Accutane and tetracycline about 30 years ago (side note: geez) and am hoping I won't need much to kill acne now.
My friend, your accutane ugl Did it work?

Are they yellow tabs with orange dots?

UGL Accutane permanently cured my AAS-induced acne, I only ran it for a short period because the sides were intolerable

100% worth it
My friend from what source did you take it? From china source? I get isotretinoin 10mg pills from a china source.
Yellow pills with orange dots. I dont know if it works

I’m right there with you. I just hit my 14th day of treatment — started with 40mg for about 5 days and quickly titrated up to be at 120mg the last 3 days. Man, this dosage is a different beast regarding the dryness, and I’m just trying to stick it out. It’s starting to get pretty cold where I’m at and the low humidity is crushing me. I’m hoping my body just adapts over the next week before I consider dropping down to 80-100mg, and ideally I would be able to go up to 140-150mg putting me at 1.3-1.4mg/kg bw dosing. There’s a great study regarding relapse rates for that dosage being used over 5-6 months.

The dry skin especially I probably would not be able to tolerate as it would compound with my eczema
im happy i ran my accutane cycle before crashing my estrogen.

crashing my estrogen damaged my skin barrier and i got a staph infection + eczema from damaged skin barrier now. or atleast contributed with it + long ass warm baths in this cold weather now.

paracatemol, ibuprofen and antihistamin is saving my life and making me a zombie rn

If you don't at least have dry lips after a few days then it's bunk

I struggle with swallowing pills/capsules and I usually just end up chewing tablets or using liquid suspensions/solutions when it comes to orals and ancillaries.

Would it be alright to open up indian pharma liquid capsules and put them into some olive oil? I know accutane is sensitive to light and heat but its only exposed for a short amount of time.

I found this study but I wonder if anyone else has any personal experience with it, especially with the taste.

I haven't started taking it yet and haven't opened the bottle yet so not sure about tab color. I think I sourced these from GGB or WWB but would go Indian pharma if I order again.

I haven't broken out much on my first cycles so I'm not sure if I'll need it. I think the full course of treatment I did in my teens is still working almost 30 years later.

Side note: there is very little information about doing a second treatment of isotretinoin after completing a full course. of anyone knows anything, send articles, studies, anecdotes, whatever. I'm curious if there general skin benefits in older adults.

I have started accutane for the first time at 5 mg/day (Accufine brand from India) and it has been about 10 days now.

Even at this super low dose I can definitely tell that my face is noticeably drier and brighter which I like, my lips are fine though.
Update: been about 20 days and I am definitely getting dry lips, but I am actually on 10 mg/day not 5 like I originally said.

I'm also on 400-800 mg of tren enanthate and I have zero acne flare ups on my body.

Looking much dryer. Got LASIK at the start of this year and surprisingly no increased dryness.

Using accufine from India. I have another package stuck in Canadian customs I really hope it makes it through....

Did your acne start to clear up at 10mg a day? Im also taking 10mg a day of accufine capsules from india. I only bought 10 packs of 10 capsules, I was concerned it might not be enough. I was considering taking antibiotics like resteclin (tetracycline) to clear up my acne in the short term and continue taking low dose accutane to keep it away. But i dont really know how to dose the resteclin yet. I got a flare up on my shoulders and the shit hurts, just wanted to know what your experiences have been on 10mg a day accutane

Buy from China. 100 tablets at $20 of isotretinoin 10mg. I'm at first week at 20mg and I already have dry lips and acne is starting to dry out very well.
