I was just doing 250 mcg three times a week I probably could've tried something lower than that but I figured at this point in my life I don't care about small balls anyways lol I finally figured out how to manage my estrogen. It seems and that was by doing every other day injections of testosterone c , I just had a E2 test come back @37 before my total testosterone and free testosterone test and you know how those E2 test usually take a while, but I was good for the first time in two years, i'm not sure what my total T and free T but my SHGB was 32 have only been doing 160 mg testosterone per weekDid you try low doses? I should mention I also dropped my test dose down, if you take a higher dose of testosterone then there’s a chance you will generate red blood cells rather than building up your ferritin. Your low ferritin might have been the thing keeping your hct in range. Now foods 36mg iron bisglycinate
Did you get bloodwork? I was thinking maybe there’s a cut off point beyond which it just starts generating high levels of estrogen. (so maybe taking lower doses will not do that)I was just doing 250 mcg three times a week
I think it's like you said we're doing too much of itDid you get bloodwork? I was thinking maybe there’s a cut off point beyond which it just starts generating high levels of estrogen. (so maybe taking lower doses will not do that)
I mean why does hcg give estrogen issues when naturally our testes don’t seem to do this?
That’s good to hear you finally sorted the e2 out, that’s why I’m hesitant to try messing with hcg again because it’s such a pain to even dial in with only trt.I was just doing 250 mcg three times a week I probably could've tried something lower than that but I figured at this point in my life I don't care about small balls anyways lol I finally figured out how to manage my estrogen. I don't think our testes are putting out that much in the real world And I'm a higher aromatizerI think it's like you said we're doing too much of it
I really don't have any need for it. Honestly, I don't need to have kids I'm 52 years old. I just want to have my E2 in check because I know how to keep everything else in check sometimes lol but you know what I'm saying. That’s good to hear you finally sorted the e2 out, that’s why I’m hesitant to try messing with hcg again because it’s such a pain to even dial in with only trt.
This protocol did jack up my red blood cell count, and my hematocrit and my hemoglobin so it's kind of a double edge sword you raise these ferritin ironnumbers or you raise the other number at what costI also possibly figured out my issue being the fact I was taking high doses for months and months. My body couldn’t keep up and even build ferritin. The creation of RBC’s from the high doses took straight from my ferritin and kept it low
Dropped down to sub 150mg test a week, some weeks I only took .2 or .3ml and forgot the other dose.
my ferritin came back at 50-60 after a couple months of that, no iron supplements.
I reckon with iron supplemets id be way higher
Yup. There’s that slight side effect which can actually make things worseThis protocol did jack up my red blood cell count, and my hematocrit and my hemoglobin so it's kind of a double edge sword you raise these ferritin ironnumbers or you raise the other number at what cost
That’s about double the hcg dose I’d recommend. From research it seems 250-300iu EOD is optimal to restore testosterone inside the testes. Maybe even lower would work 70-80% as well.
Although not saying you wouldn’t still have difficulty managing estradiol levels.
