Ment & cardiac remodeling

Catchy title.

Looking to run my first ment experiment

I really didn’t see this talked about much here, but it’s come up a few times through outside reading regarding ment.

The biggest thing I’m seeing is a pretty significant spike in bp, but seems to stick around for weeks/months after clearing. People are assuming cardiac remodeling as the cause but I can’t see that as realistic.

Does anyone have any input or experience regarding the above? Or is it just blown out of proportion.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any knowledge on the cardiac remodeling. But I’m following as I’m doing a little trial of ment at 5-7mg/day (added to my test). I noticed the BP spike immediately. Wasn’t in the danger zone, but noticeably elevated. Added 20mg telmisatan per day and things are back to normal.

Even at 5mg ed? That’s what I was going to start with.

What’s typical bp and what did it push to?

Last official BP reading at doc was 118/76 in early-October and that’s pretty typical. I also check it at home using a wrist monitor, and always get reading around 120/80. After the ment, I was getting readings around 130/80 +/- 5/5. Wrist monitors are known to be inaccurate. But knowing how it was measuring previously along with the head pressure, I’m certain it was elevated. I had the Telmisartin on hand so decided not to wait around. I just bought an upper arm monitor and will start using that going forward.

I imagine BP on ment is going to respond differently for different people, so you may not experience anything at that low of a dose. With the telmi, I feel good riding out my experiment.

Other than the daily pinning, I’m liking the ment so far. I find that if I take it ~3 hours before the gym, I get the best effect.

There was a decent thread at TNation some time ago and some on here probably.

The estrogen metabolite from MENT...

If you look through the clinical trials BP came back down after a few weeks IIRC. Enanthate ester in the trials? Cant remember. Shitty estrogen for BP regulation vs E2. Shitty HRT product. More plausible than any short term remodeling over 12 weeks or however long the trials were. Lost interest in providing real details anymore. Few give a F.

Good luck!

Nevermind, misremembered. Dont do steroids. Bad for brain.

Implant.
Thanks for sharing the links. Admittedly, I think I’m too dumb to find the practical application of the info contained. But the more info the better. Eventually, some of it clicks.

I went into this knowing that BP and gyno were potential risks and think I’ve planned accordingly. I’m intrigued by this compound, and hope my understanding that risk factors are minimal at low doses is correct.

I particularly like that I can “feel” my dose kick in and if timed correctly, it makes for a great workout. Another unplanned potential benefit is that since I have to pin it daily, I went ahead and started pinning my test daily along with it, which should lead to more stable test levels.

Only about a week in, so time will tell.

Sorry if I’ve derailed your thread @SwolieGuacamole .

Dudes took MENT. BP elevated compared to control. IIRC, study authors were scratching their heads and didn't understand what MENT metabolizes into. I think that is the study linked. Not going to read it again.

Good luck with your experiment.

You’re good bro lol. Just here to gather info and real application

Wow. BP response? Meds on cycle?
Not gonna lie…… I never checked, but didn’t feel like my BP was high.
I ran it 12 weeks

Never took meds on cycle.
Just until this month I started getting my health supplements in check, stack of vitamins: cycle defender by LGXNDS, tudac, cranberry extract and then a kidney supplement that has lot of stuff in it by sunergetic.

I also am on reta and getting bloodwork in December so other things may be implemented depending what that shows. Back in March my HDL and LDL were out of wack.
I am trying to be health focused going forward, when I never have.

When I ran the 2G tren all I was on was tirz and test. Nothing support.

Glad you are looking out for your health moving forward. Sounds like you have the mutant AAS tolerance genes. Muscle Ozzy. Congrats and be careful.

I don't mean to be so negative but all those vitamins aren't gonna do anything a proper diet wouldn't. Well except maybe the "tudac" which I'm guessing is tudca?

With the insane cycles you are running and that you didn't even check BP boggles my mind. High BP is a silent killer and also a silent kidney killer. Most people have no clue that they have high BP. So running 700mg ment or 2g tren and saying you felt fine really doesn't tell us anything. I check mine daily on cycle. Sometimes more than once. You should buy a proper arm cuff tonight. Omron is a good brand to start with.

You need to stock up on the heavy hitters from India pharma like telmisartan, cilnidipine(also good for kidneys) or amlodipine, nebivolol, ezetimibe, bempedoic acid, pitavistatin or rosuvastatin, tadalafil, empagliflozan,. You won't use all of them but it's good insurance. And grab lots of magnesium glycinate, lite salt, high EPA/dha fish oil... maybe citrus bergamot, coq10, astragalus
