Trt dosage and frequency

Hi guys. I've been self medicating my trt and was wondering everyone else's protocol, my test is a cyp 200mg and been doing 1ml once a week. But I was gonna drop to 0.75ml.

On another note has anyone heard of or used the lab panacea

Most TRT money grab clinics offer the bro science 200mg cyp, followed up with arimidex twice weekly and some sort of HCG, enclomiphene bandaid. Labs are requested sporadically to ensure they are up to par for maintaining licensing. They go as far as to say don't take your injection for 96hrs prior to your blood work so that your numbers drop to justify keeping you on there get rich script. The script itself is overpriced and ridiculous given how cheap testosterone is. People will argue that it's "pharma-grade" but compounding pharmacies are as well off as quality UGL.

You mention you're self medicating which many do once they realize the overpriced nonsense. Truth is and others will back this in future postings I'm sure.... You have to do blood work to see the full picture. Many places offer this relatively cheap now privately. Giving you a blanket number is as ignorant as the catch all clinics. By getting your blood work you are able to ascertain your levels off a particular dose and adjust accordingly.

I recommend this and then if you have further questions or need advice based off the blood work, you can post in the forums and receive guidance in a positive direction.

I'm running 200mg a week approximately. 29 units or 58mg every other day. I inject IM and it keeps me around 1100 total T. No AI and my estradiol stays around 42. My TRT doc is cool with me bumping that up to 250mg a week and has prescribed Nandrolone in the past, but the Nandrolone tends to push up my blood pressure.

Twice daily 25mg testosterone in atrevis applied to the balls. Amazing stuff
I'm only chiming in to say you gotta find the protocol that works for you. Dosing and split will ultimately be determined by you through trial and error to see what makes you feel best, not some numbers on a lab test

It really doesn't matter that much to be honest. Inject when you remember. Inject every two weeks even.

They are long esters and even when you think you're levels are low or you need to do more frequent dosing you probably don't.

Just my 2 cents.

200mg is probably too much. Real TRT is closer to 100mg.

If you wanna do a cycle just do one. Calling something TRT doesn't magically make everything safe.

Read the new member rules and etiquette, do what it says to do in there.

When you make your new member post, post your bloodwork, because without that we can only guess at answers to your question. Bloodwork first always. Then plan according to what the bloodwork shows.

This was back in February on 125mg per week. At the moment im on 200mg per week and will test again after new year, also on a different lab for the last 3 weeks taking 200mg

There is no standard dose. If you are just in average range on 125mg weekly(16nmol/L) what did you measure before starting ?
Could be you are now in the higher range +25nmol/L on 200mg EW. Some have these numbers on just 100mg EW.

my new doctor wants me to do 50mg Test e every two weeks(vs 125mg every week my previous endo gave me)
i said fuck that and just continue my 125mg split into 2 injections and pre my blood work i just stop all injections for 1week so the doctor will get his ass 15nmol he wants to see in results

I don't know the official number but my last test from the NHS said my test was low but still in the range, if I remember correctly I was about 8 on the scale and the lowest number was 7 before they even contemplate doing anything, the NHS are terrible for doing trt

8 is in the low range under ref. 8.6-29nmol/L. You could get low-T sides from that value

Not many people actually need 200mg a week. I think the cookie cutter clinics just do that to make you feel good right off the bat so they hook you into chasing that walking boner honeymoon period a lot of people get when they start. Most dudes just end up with sky high E2, high HCT and possibly BP issues too.

If we are being honest with ourselves, 100mg split into at least two doses per week is actually a good starting point with true TRT. Ideally you want to be in the middle to upper range with E2 in range without AI and a good HCT number. Sometimes those three will never coincide.

It was pretty interesting reading the 10mg a day TRT thread at PM how many people, even big guys, realized they could feel fine, have a good T level and still maintain their gains in just 10mg of Test a day.

Not all react the same to TRT !

TS started on the low range of 8nmol/L and after 125mg weekly he measured 16nmol/L what is a result for even higher dose than 125mg weekly for TS his situation.

New blood results can point out if 200 instead of 125mg is to high, or needs decrease to +- 160mg weekly.

In the beginning it’s just try and measure results !

I know. LOL.

I'm just saying from a clinical or harm reduction standpoint, where providers allegedly care about peoples' health, and are trying to avoid negative side effects... 100mg a week is a much better starting point than 200mg because very few people *need* 200mg to have a normal testosterone range. Whereas most people will be in normal range on 100mg or somewhere close to it. Never said there's not room to titrate up and down to optimize what's best for you. If you are the <1% who need 250mg of Test a a week to be in normal range, by all means take it. It's just not a wise starting point for all of your patients if you are a doctor..or someone self prescribing.

I haven't seen any mention of labs by the OP. That's probably the first hurdle he needs to tackle before we can give him useful advice.

Yeah, dialing in TRT can be a real journey. I'm running around 200mg a week, split into smaller doses every other day to keep things stable, and my levels are holding around 1100 total T. No AI needed, and my E2 is chill at around 42 . It really does come down to finding what works best for you through trial and error, not just chasing numbers on a lab test . Everyone reacts differently . Some guys feel great on 100mg, others need more. Blood work is key to see how you respond and adjust accordingly
