What to expect from Reta??

I'm debating on running Reta come next week.. I never ran any type of GLP but ran gear/cycles many times before.. so PEDs aren't new to me, even though Reta isn't a steroid. Question is what results can I expect from Reta if I plan on running it til the the begging of June?? I Only want honest feedback from those who actually ran or are running Reta not feedback from something u seen Youtube.. thankssss..

I'm currently on Reta. I ran 3.5mg of Reta once a week over this past summer for 10 weeks. I basically reset my whole body. I'm 5ft 10inches and weighed 192lb. I was average built with a pretty sizable beer belly. Hours after my first injection I lost my appetite completely. The next day I woke like usual and had no need for breakfast. I got a little hungry around 2pm and decided to eat a tuna sandwich. I could only eat half of it and i felt full. I didnt feel hungry again till the following day around 4pm. Once again I could only eat about half of what i normally would eat and felt no need for snacking throughout the day like i normally do. This went on for a week and I starting noticing changes in appearance and energy. I was losing weight fast but my energy levels were also down. I was tired because i wasnt taking the proper supplements or staying hydrated. This was negatively effecting my workouts and I could see that I wasnt just losing my beer belly but I was losing muscle as well. By my 3d week i started drinking protein shakes and taking electrolytes and i was feeling much better. I was sleeping better and my energy levels were returning back to normal. By my 6th week I had a pretty flat stomach and I was regaining strength. By my 8th week i was getting ripped. Major definition was showing in abs and I had a good routine going. I felt like I reached my goal by my tenth week so I started taking a maintanance dose of 1.5mg just to curb the appetite because I dont want my beer belly coming back. Almost forgot to mention, I was a regular drinking of wine and whiskey. With reta I just dont find the pleasure in it as much. I'll force myself to have a few for holidays and special occasions but otherwise alcohol is not a daily or weekly thing anymore. I do have some constipation here and there so I make sure that I stack my protein supplements with fiber supplements everyday.

People new to GLP blockers generally feel a lot of hunger suppression. Its pretty alarming when it starts, because your first instinct is to assume you are sick so you are sitting there waiting for it to hit you, but it never does. You are just not as hungry.

One tip, start slow. Clinical trials start at 2mg/wk. I know some hyper responders who had total appetite shutdown at just 1mg when they started. Be careful. And remember it takes 5-6 weeks to fully saturate so its going to build up as you reach week 5-6. Be patient. Dont just blast it if you dont get what you want in weeks 1-2.

If I could start over I wouldve done it this way for sure. I jumped in too fast.

appetite suppression will most likely hit you hard at the beginning and slowly start to lower over time. I personally started on 0.5mg a week and had barely any appetite for the first couple weeks now I can take 8-12mg and have a fine appetite (been on it for over 6 months). You wont notice much in terms of performance in gym or cardio but you will likely become more insulin sensitive which is good and possibly have some sides related to the glucagon activation (increased energy expenditure) like increased rhr or feel hotter via thermogenic effect. Reta is also known to not crush appetite as much as other glps but does slow digestion so eating more frequent lower cal meals can be more beneficial if you are having trouble staying in a deficit. For example 4 500 calorie meals instead of 2 1000 cal meals. Other sides can be skin sensitivity and some digestion issues but nothing too extreme. Remember the deficit is what is going to lose weight and reta will help you stay in the deficit that is all, it is a tool and a good one but not a crutch. My advice is to start on a lower dose 0.5-1mg every 5-7 days. You can split dosages into multiple times a week if the appetite supression is too much. Hope this helps

So 2mg each week for the first month seems more ideal..than up the dose?

How would Compare this to Tirz? That's if you have taken Tirz in the past as well.. thanks for your feedback again

you will be peeing non-stop for days until you shed a ton of water. it will wreck your sleep, rhr will go up 10 points vo2max will drop. you will look at food and feel instantly full like a bloated tick. food will sit in your gut for hours. if you dont eat enough carbs you will shed muscle at alarming rates

ive taken all of the glps. And im on tirz and reta rn. Tirz is stronger appetite suppression than reta side effects are about the same on both, way more tolerable than sema because of the gip they have. I see a lot of hype for reta but I think tirz might be better for people that just want to lose a good amount of weight and its cheaper. Both good though only main difference would be the glucagon on reta that tirz doesn't have, some people say its a big deal but I don't think its that many additional calories burned per day in my experience but I could be wrong and it could be person/dose dependant. But any of the side effects like increased rhr and trouble sleeping/ thermogenic effects wouldn't be present from the tirz because it doesn't have the glp3 that reta does. Both gave similar benefits to insulin sensativity tirz lowered it more, but I also take more tirz than I do reta

So 2mg each week for the first month seems more ideal..than up the dose?

The problem is it builds up for 5-6 weeks due to 6 day half life. You wont know the final impact of the dosage till then but at one month, you should definitely be feeling something. If not, you can probably up it slowly.

As other have also said, it wouldn't hurt to start even lower initially. It does hit some folks like a truck. Up to you but clinical trials, I believe, start at 2mg.

Imma look into it.. i was debating Tirz or Reta...but many swear by Reta more.. Thanks for the response bro

I started at 2mg, titrated up every 4 weeks till I got to 8, where I am now. Paired with HGH with TRT and it totally recomp'd my body. I have a 6 pack now for the first time since I was heavy in MMA 20 years ago. The appetite suppression is ok, but tirz is better. I get about a 15 bpm HR increase which paired with HGH turns into a little more than that. I'm dropping down to 4mg this week to see if the heart rate sides go down, because I'm ready for maintenance dose now. I have heavily considered swapping back to tirz for my maintenance but we will see I guess. It's an amazing drug, and does some amazing things for people, but definitely start slow.

And IMO, the reason people are swearing by reta more is because it's the new kid on the block. And we are programmed to always want the latest and greatest. IF I had to do it over again, I'd have probably just went with Tirz. It's cheaper and effective. But I already have a pile of reta so that's why I stuck with it.
