Hello everyone.
I am going in for bloodwork tomorrow (am bakc in EU), and I am getting an E2 value done to see if I need to add in exemestane. (currently on ~350 Tcyp and ~337 Bold U)
I always assumed that the testing place I was getting my testing doen at was doing high sens E2 as its only option, as it is the standard for this lab to mostly offer high sens testing (lower quality test are usually replaced by higher sens ones as soon as they are commercially avaliable for monetary reasons, aka to milk insurance companies)
ElectroChemiLuminescentImmunoAssay ECLIA
I always assumed that this testing method was one of the methods mentioned in this article:
but a buddy of mine (who does study molecular biology and pharma development) told me that the method used there (ECLIA) was not quite perfect, though he didnt seem very confident about his claim.
So I decided to ask here:
Is this the method they use for you US guys when doing high sens E2?
If no, what methdo do they use?
