i think ill be following this recipe, but substituting isopropyl myristate for dmso, and potentially the ethyl alcohol for isopropyl. sounds like the trolamine as a thickening agent will also raise the ph of the solution.

just make the gel yourself. Do not mix the powder into a premade gel which contains ingredients which might block absoprtion.

it costs less than 25$ to make 0.5 LITERS of gel.
Buying premade gel assures you wont absorb/distribute the DHT properly.
Buy DMSO from a chemistry supplier or pharmacy
Buy carbomer from amazon
buy skin disinfectant (70% isoprop/ethanol, does not matter)
mix it together, increase PH, and you are done. 3 years of DHT gel made in an afternoon, for less than 25 dollars.

If you can't do that, consider removing your testicles.

DMSO is the thing that makes the API pass the skin properly. if you substitute with alcohol, you will dry out your skin more, and also absorb less.

Whats the ratio of the dsmo, carbomer, and and 70% iso? Does it need to be heated, and I guess I’d have to buy a ph tester?

Also, would 1x application daily like in mornings with enough dht % content be fine for gyno control/relief?

i posted a pharmacy recipe a bit further up on this page. the isopropyl myristate is the DMSO of that recipe (an addition to increase skin absorption)

carbomer was a tiny amount, but its almost certainly qs until you get the consistency you desire.

some recipes get hot by themselves. buy PH testing strips.
direct application on the gyno, 1-2x daily. works fine for shrinking it temporarily/ halting progress, kind of like raloxifene

kvlabs has a dmso gel. its 99.9% dmso, but 90% total volume dmso, a little carbomer and a little alcohol.

you think dissolving the dht in isopropyl then adding to that gel base would be an ok direction to go in?

did you ever put stuff like vitamin e in your mixtures? also is sodium hydroxide (lye) the base you used? finally, you never told me what ph to shoot for but looking around it looks like the ph is not for the skin but the actual permeability of the compound

you want the DHT to be evenly distribited (dissolved) in the DMSO & Alcohol
if you put powder in premade gel you will get clumps. those dont absob well. also, its not a good thing for dosing properly.

the PH adjustment is so that the carbomer turns into actual gel. If you care about your skin you will get it around PH7.
lye could work, but the stronger the base the less you need to use. also make sure its not an irritant/ toxic.

dissolve the minimal amount of carbomer 940 or 980 in distilled water.
mix the 2 liquids together. stir,but make sure the carb doesnt stick to the stirring rod. (i prefer metal stirer over glass for this, you can use a knife or something idk)

after that, take ph, add a base, stir.

it will congeal a bit. take PH again.
repeat until at PH7 / preferred thickness of the gel.

Is there a reason besides personal preference to make it a gel? Does it help with absorption?
