Community Review: IndiaMart Ancillaries

But your saying you have applied to be a vendor on here ?
by fellow mates i meant my other indiamart vendor who have all testosterone for example be dr glexx powerbolic all are very bad quality, best brand are zydus and searle and kachhela and jeerima are also decent, i actually know which indian brands are actually good and which are not, some maintain some standards.

I don’t understand sometimes hate against Rohit. I did order with him only tablets/pills from India to France. 1 order in December and 2 orders in January, got tracking in 2 days for all, then it takes 14 days for 1 order and the 2 others took only 7 days to arrive. No problem, no missing items.

I just placed my first order with him. Nothing major. Just a couple hundred pills. The whole process was easy and he answered every question I had. I asked for the boxes so it's not just lose strips and because I'm weird and like the advertising, so he threw them in as well. I got tracking info in less than 2 days without having to ask for it. Just waiting on it to get here now. If everything makes it, this will be the easiest order ever. Definitely repeat customer.

aside from UGL brands like evolve, are there branded companies to generally stay away from or have much lesser quality than others? I've interfaced with a number of brands that don't produce their own goods instead contracting it out and often they can't seem to answer questions on their own "production". Any insight would be valuble.

I'm trying to nail him down on his reship policy, but all he will say in response is he has a good success rate getting packs into the US. I'm not doing huge order as this will be my first with him, but I've seen enough in this thread to know US customs has turned up the heat recently.

I don't remember where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure he policy is he will reship but does not pay for the whole thing. I don't know what you're trying to "nail down". That's the policy. You either have to take the risk to save 100s or find someone else that will reship but might not ever respond to messages. You've got to find the balance I guess.

I'm glad you're confident in your dealings with him to move ahead with your order. I know how the game works, I'd just trying to hear it from the man himself.

when going to our indian pharmas keep these things in note:
dont buy any ugl
avoid products which dont have real life use in real situation(tren etc)
avoid product labelled for export only.

brands to avoid
1-zee pharma(instances where some people told when they switched to zee from another brands their issues came back highlight product is bunk)
2-aurobindo pharma(SECOND biggest pharma exporter yet really bad ill post some links to support the same)
just a few of them i have more but ill post it later
3 take another example say mankind pharma an example of what they do
Mankind Pharma is only a Marketing Company not a Medicine Manufacturing Company. Products Marketed by them like Lipirose®F10(Statin class of medicines) are made by 3rd Party Contract Pharma Makers Ravenbhel Biotech J & K,Mediforce Healthcare Pvt Ltd Paonta Sahib Himachal Pradesh and sold at very high prices as opposed to similar formulations available in PMBJAUSHK.So mankind pharma is a good brand but just sells what others do at 3-4x the price
then comes another thing, The marketing techniques of Mankind is not ethical. They offer commission to prescribing doctors and to the chemists., which leads to doubts like this.
now much more brand which i will mention

coming to generics - is indians generic really safe?
In US and Europe, the Generic is absolutely similar to the Brand drug. Both in terms of safety and efficacy.
However, in a country like India, the generic is supposedly similar to the brand drug. It is so, on paper. But many a times it may not be as effective.
The reason being regulations are not so stringent here.
For instance, Bioequivalence is not a mandate in India.
This is the most stringent test to compare a generic to a brand drug, they do it by giving it to real humans before marketing and compare both drugs.
In our country such testing is not required, simply lab tests, in vitro like dissolution data is adequate for marketing approval of generics.
This is because bioequivalence testing is expensive and that will ultimately make the cost of medicine expensive, this is why the government has not made it a mandate to keep the cost low.
Hence not all generics available in India may be good, in the sense they may not have a similar efficacy to that of the brand. Safety is generally not a problem but it is better to select generics marketed by reputable manufacturers in India.
however telling generics is bunk is bad healing pharma is a generic brand but as u can see its worked
Many patients rely on their doctor's advice, which is why branded medicines are frequently prescribed. As a result, generic medicines are often overlooked when a doctor's prescription is involved.
there are informally two levels of quality - one for the US and Europe and another for India and other developing countries. The second level of quality is much lower than the first, but is able to supply a product at a much lower price point that is more affordable to the target market. Without this lower quality level product, some customers may not have access to any product at all.
It is true that the FDA inspects the higher quality level facilities but NOT the lower level quality ones. The Indian regulatory agency is notoriously corrupt and inept. The government has been trying to address this problem. I am skeptical that this effort has been very succesful.
The FDA has great difficulty inspecting plants in India because the staff there will lie to them to try to pass the inspection. Groups of staff will hide information and areas they do not want the FDA to see. This likely also happens in the US but is not nearly as institutionalized as an accepted practice as it is in India.
As a result, Pharma products from India carry more risk to the US consumer than similar products originating elsewhere (except China, where the situation is perhaps even worse). Sterile products for injection are even higher risk and should be avoided from bad brands if at all possible. On the other hand, the risk that a generic aspirin tablet will cause actual harm if it is contaminated or contains less than the label quantity of active ingredient is probably acceptably low to most people.
so ideally find who the manufacturer is by asking ur seller and look them up how big and trusted they are if its big brand like cipla not really required
this instance was seen between the jackson laboratories and qp pharmachem previously.
You could compare BRANDED VS GENERIC as like this
The problem is more about quality assurance than generics vs branded. The chemical composition and quality metrics are supposed to remain the same. In the absence of active monitoring and poor ethics/accountability, it can become difficult to be certain.
Think of it as different brands of a common product….say a marie or glucose biscuit. They are supposed to be the same but you know how it is.
  1. Ask the manufacturers about their WHO, GMP, GLP, & ISO certificates.
  2. I’d suggest, don’t go with the companies who doesn’t have the above certificates
some popular brands
  1. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
  2. Lupin Limited
  3. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.
  4. Cipla Limited
  5. Cadila Healthcare Ltd.
  6. Biocon Ltd
  7. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
  8. Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
and all the brands i had previously mentioned

Now whats the easiest way to know whether a brand is good its latest reviews?
search the brand name and quora/reddit preferably quora as many indian users post reviews experiences etc on it and reddit also as the new gen is in that

im going to sleep now ill post more about this later
