I think it’s totally fair to bring this up.
The reaction is almost always the same: "they have risk", etc.,. But discounting doesn't have to be one sided, neo doesn't have to lose for customers to win. UGLs aren't the first enterprise to ever have to factor risk into their pricing, but you can't put such a premium that you price out of the market. Pricing should be looked at as a tool to capture value.
Neo could bundle them with a kit of a more sought after item and discount the tabs more heavily when sold as a set. Generate cash flow, clear out the inventory, sell more high-margin units than you would have otherwise and profit. Customer gets value, seller does as well.
You might buy the neighbors steaks if they came with a blowjob from his wife..
