Kidney issues in Labwork

I'm 62, and on TRT of 125 mg of testosterone undecanoate every 9 days. UGL obviously, nobody prescribes it like that.
I was happy to see my hematocrit and estrogen is ok, and testosterone levels were ok, but not sure what's up with my kidneys. Maybe I was dehydrated?

Labs show early kidney failure levels EGFR. Were you dehydrated? What else have you recently ran? Is this the lowest you’ve seen it? What were your last labs before this? Did you have a hard lift session that day or day before? There is so many reasons this COULD be false low but if that was my EGFR I would be beating down the door of a nephrologist. Start astragalus root and stop any supplementing of creatine.

We need more tests bro:
- urine ACR
- cystatin C

The bun/creatinine ratio is good and so are your electrolytes so I think kidney panick isn't warranted yet.

Also blood glucose will mess up your kidneys quicker than anything else. Get that sorted first.

No more HGH. Ask your doctor about a glp1 and or Metformin.

Really have never tested this before, and I've never cycled, only TRT. Blood pressure is sometimes a little high maybe 130 or 135 over 70 or 80, sometimes 125/70.
Not insured, cash paying, or medical tourism.
Might have been dehydrated a little. Been on a training hiatus, so can't be that. Haven't done creatine in a long time, been eating 200g protein a day.
Thanks for the tips, I'll look into the astragalus root, and get some follow up done.

Thanks man, gonna get some followup labs.

Ok mate. Heaps of guys who know their shit here.

@Ateam2023 has a lot of experience dealing with this personally.

I don't think you need to panick.

Although not as old as you, my last labs came back with a egfr of 51. My doc chalked it up to heavy workout a few days before and creatine supplementation. I quit the creatine and she wanted me to come back in 2 weeks to retest. I wasn't satisfied with that so she wrote me a referral to a nephrologist and my appointment is tomorrow. From everything I read, creatinine tests can be inaccurate due to our lifestyles. I was on 150mg test, 80mg deca, and 3 ius of HGH a week. I quit the deca and HGH, so hopefully things calmed down. I guess the TLDR of my post is.......go see a nephrologist, it can't hurt. Jardiance is now a treatment for kidney issues and it's cheap as hell buying it from India.

My CKD-EPI creatinine (2021) EGFR has been 72-82 (last 82) over the last year.

My CKD-EPI creatinine-cystatin c (2021) EGFR has been 88-115 (last 106).

You need to get your cystatin C checked.

You should also plug your numbers into a calculator that adjusts for body size: eGFR Calculator

I don't have a doc, I just got blood panels for TRT, but I went for the comprehensive metabolic panel.
I'm trying to wait it out until I get Medicare in 2 1/2 years.

There's really no good place to do both UACR and Cys test except Fitomics which needs a membership.

If you go through GL, then you need to do Cystatin via Quest and UACR via Labcorp which is just stupid.

Get these labs..

With that EGFR, i'll probably go straight to urine->nepro->jardiance or just get it from India directly..
