proviron and hair loss

All you have to remember is androgens are responsible for hair loss. So something like proviron, which isn't an anabolic steroid at all... it's just an androgen, technically a methylated form of DHT, will accelerate hair loss.

Any DHT topical blocker will help slow hair loss but the reality is... you either have the gene for MPB or you don't. And if you do, you'll eventually lose your hair and if you don't, you won't.

Good luck

Right. I've used a roid or two over the years and I'm now over 25(2) with all my hair:D! Okay, it's thinning on the back but been like that for 15 years.:o

if you have the gene proviron WILL make you loss your hair dht blocker or not. grab some proscar cut in four take 1/4 a day for 2 months start your cycle grab some nizoral(shamppoo) order from canada if you can its stronger here. use it every secong day and what ever you do stay away from winny, anadrol, masteron, proviron or any other dht based compound.after that is all done juice away and enjoy all your hair not falling out

I might add that proviron and masteron are two of my favourite gear choices. If you're gonna lose it, you're gonna lose it. Relax and go with it. If you get to keep Samson locks, still relax, go with it, and smile at the baldheads in the gym.:D

I am 46 and have been fighting hair loss since 1986 ( first using minoxidil then in the early 1990's started proscar). I have continued these and over the past ten years have added nizoral shampoo, Dr. proctor's proxiphen formula, nano shampoo and most recently Dr. Lee's Azelic acid and spirolacton. I started my first cycle 6 months and have used many products, winstrol tabs, bold, deca, test, and most recently added proviron for help with sex life. I never had a bad or thinning area in the vertex, just a recession at the temples. I was able to maintain what hair I had but recently I noticed generalized thinning at the vertex, I can see my scalp in various area and thinning in the front. The only thing I done differently the past 6 month was adding gear, going off Dr. Proctor's proxiphern and the last 2 months added proviron 100mg per day.

Am destine to continue with the balding process if I continue with the gear? If so, I think I would rather have hair than muscles. As you can read, I am on every dht suppresent available. However, I was not on the spirolactone cream, azelic acid during the past six months, just started those.

GNS is selling a new shampoo/dht blocker called Revita i think. have not tried it but mabe it would help. Nioxin is also a good shampoo.

The good thing is that we do have choices now. Even those that have a predisposition towards baldness.

You can incorporate topical DHT blockers such as 5%Spironolactone and 5%Azeliec Acid. Also you can use retinol-A with Minoxidil. Retinol-A supposely ex foliates the scalp so that more minoxidil will penetrate and make it more effective. Minoxidil isn't listed as effective in the frontal area's that most men begin to lose their hair but in the vertex regions. But many have found success with Minoxidil and Retinol-A in the frontal region.

Also some cold-diode lasers are effective in some hair regenerations and have been used in Europe for years. There will be more treatment options. Don't get discourage, just research.
