high reps?

Question. This girls website features many workouts that are all high rep ranges. One workout involving squats she focuses on a 40 rep range. How can this girl be so ripped when she uses high reps and light weights? Do you think she does her own workouts:

She's shredding fat with this method. Light weight / high reps is obviously not a mass builder.
 
Who says high reps cant build muscle?? Go watch the old bodybuilders do crazy sets of squats until they fall over. I have a newer DVD of Lee Priest doing leg press for 100 reps. Yes she is def burning fat but I guarantee she builds muscle too, just not at the MASS rate we do at our low rep higher weight...thats not her goal like all of US BEASTS!!!!!! My wife does lower weights for higher reps and she puts on mass just fine, just slower is all.

What workouts build mass and what workouts help lean you out are not dependent on the workout, but on #1 your caloric intake and #2 genetics. Most of my muscles grow best with 15 to 20 reps as heavy as I can take it, but many others grow best with 5 or 6 reps. Variation is vital to growth.
