Bulgarian Olympic weightlifting champion Galabin Boevski was sentenced to nine years and four months in prison after being convicted of international drug trafficking after attempting to board the plane with eight kilograms of cocaine. Boevski apparently turned to cocaine trafficking during the time he was serving an eight-year suspension for his second doping violation in 2004. Boevski was caught using anabolic steroids earlier in his career and was suspended for the first time in 1995

8 kilos on a plane is a bit risky. internationally or otherwise. but im sure it happens with succsess. what is security like over there?
ten years is a long time. non violent offender? what are prison conditions like over there. how well prepared will he be when he comes out.
so a dna sample is needed for sports integrity. i find that a bit intrusive.
interesting the difference in perception. a sports celebrity. you mean they dont waste tax payer money on trying to humiliate him in public. unsuccessfully.
