Exactly what I told her [:o)]. Her friend, who gave her a diet and training program for the show, is a sponsored NPC Bikini competitor. The other girl did a fairly big NPC show in May when my wife was really getting into her diet. We went to the show, and it was great for her to see what she was up against if she wanted to get serious.

I appreciate the offer for help, and will probably take you up on it eventually. Right now we are just concentrating on bringing up weak parts and adding muscle until Septemberish.

She is natural. She's only been lifting a few months, so we are probably going to hold of on gear for about a year. Right now, she's not to keen on the idea of running anything, but she's SUPER competitive, and knows there's a certain level (like where your wife is) where you either hop on the train, or it goes by. I'll let her tell me when she's ready, or not. As it is, there are some competitive girls at our gym, and they are all convinced she's on var :D

I will post a pic later tonight of my wifes first figure show... all the judges told her to move up to BB or physique... she placed 12th out of 13... had the best physique in the show.

the rest of the girls looked like bikini girls...

another thing...politics is huge. Get her a connected trainer with a lot of good friends that are judges.

women have a harder time...obviously... without gear.

however, they don't need a lot... and I don't recommend harsh stuff either... such as Test.

var, primo, winni, mast, and tbol. My wife responds the best with low dose primo and winni.

tbol if she wants to add mass.

Google can probably already put a name to that face using facial recognition technology. But placing a name to faceless T&A may take a few more years... :)

Google is apparently taking that technology to heart by experimenting with facial recognition online. Even cooler (or creepier, as the case may be), one day Google's image search may be able to find faces of specific people based on image analysis/recognition alone instead of relying on the text associated with that image to identify the person in the photo.

Here is the pattern I have seen over and over again in the 30 years I have been around this game.

Woman joins a gym to get in shape. She lives training, and then decides to go for a small, local competition. She gets beaten by gals on gear. She then decides "maybe I will just do a little anavar and maybe some Tamox to harden up the legs.

Results are excellent, she goes out and does well in a local show.

She then decides to step up to a tougher regional show. Of course everything else is stepped up, including her gear.

I am not judging, just stating what I have seen time and again.

On the other hand, you guys are lucky. I love chicks who are fit. Sadly, my beautiful young wife has decided she does not want to lift at all, just do sporadic cardio.

Competitions are a great way of increasing training, proper diet, etc. These gals are incredibly hot. Just be aware of how the whole process plays out.

actually now she is just modeling and doing photo shoots…

the bureaucracy and politics of NPC is not worth it…

not too mention the amount of AAS that a girl needs to be competitive is not healthy.

Here is something: The guy I am getting ready for jr nats has me running his gear cycle and diuretics. He has also been working w/ a local IFBB pro on his training and diet. He says that the training advice has been gold: He is on a 20 rep program....my advice was to alternate that w/ a heavy day, but he is doing 20 reps each and every workout. I gotta admit, he is looking awesome.

A guy w/ an amazing physique (no homo) came into my store yesterday, and after a bit of chit chat, we both realized that we had been working w/ the same guy (lets call him Brad). This IFBB pro can absolutely not run drug programs, since 1, he is a highly visible pro, and 2 There was a huge steroid bust several years ago that he almost got swept up in (one of his clients, also an NPC judge did get time). He does adjust training and diet to gear use, but he only wants to know what you are taking, he does not give advice that could in anyway be illegal.

Me on the other hand, I am a nobody[:o)]

Well, Brad told him about the program I gave him, and the pro said OK. At 13 weeks out Brad was only on 500 mg's of test a week. I convinced him to go up to 1 gram immediately, and then 1.5 grams until 3-4 weeks out. He just passed the 4 week mark, and has been on 1.5 grams of test e/c, 800 tren, 500 mast.

He is switching out to short acting esters this week, and looks phenomenal.

The pro (no, he is not Kai Green) explained his 20 rep philosophy very well. I have always been a believer in heavy weights. After my shoulder surgery I now stay between 10 and 14 reps. I have responded well to the 10-14 system, and am thinking of trying the 20 rep approach.

Of course these high rep protocols are only good if you have at least 5 years of basic/heavy training under your belt.

So, top that for OT!
 
i love switching it up…

but my high rep is 25-35.

it seems to tear me down too much…

so i limit it to a couple of weeks every other month.
