Hi all,

What are the top boards that vets here hang out in that are uncensored and others that have members who preach proven science over bro science ?

I thought most of the boards I was a part of didn't have sections like this to avoid liability, but now I understand many boards have some kind of nefarious/egocentric agenda.

What attracted me most to this board was the Underground Section. I then liked the science rules over bro science approach that some of the members here educate on also.

Some boards had waiting periods to join ( i guess they are trying to use scarcity as a technique?) while others preached being "on" forever in a cult like manner.

I read Meso regularly and All Things Male (rarely) only really although I have an account on a ton of other boards.

OLM, steroidology. Lol, just kidding, meso sems pretty damn good to me. Lots of quality contributions, backed by lots of science, helped along with a healthy dose of scepticisim and finally fed by entertaining drama! what more could you possibly want?

This one and ironden,, that's about It for unbiased and uncensored...... I do think that there is a lot more knowledgeable members at ironden though, a lot of high level strongmen, powerlifters & bodybuilders...... If I want to learn something that's usually where I look. There's women over there with 500+ pound deadlifts and 400 lbs bench's.

There are a lot of idiots on some boards, I saw a guy last week claiming that he never sterilized his injection sites and used the power of his mind to kill any bacteria....... Claimed he visualized pissing them out when he took a leak and that's why he never got an infection [)]

When it comes to the scientific aspect of things... I say read more blogs and less forums...Although Q & A with Patrick Arnold at PHF forum is pretty darn good and entertaining. Meso has some of the best articles, too. My fav blogs and sites: total flex blog, patrick arnold blog, ergo-log, prohormonedb...Meso and PHF tops my list as far as quality and content.

Just about all source forums are censored at least to a certain extent. Board owners have two options; either keep things honest at the expense of losing revenue or allow censorship at the benefit of making as much as possible. It really shouldn't come as a surprise that most gravitate towards the latter.

Luckily Millard doesn't run Meso for profit yet permits source discussion. That combined with the fact that bro science isn't assumed to be valid solely because it's been echoed in the AAS community for decades is why this is pretty much the only AAS forum I frequent. That likely is why Meso is the only forum(I know of) that has Physicians posting on a regular basis.

I don't really know much about which board is best & I am pretty ignorant to the world of gear & body building. What I do know is on this board if you ask inteligent, honest questions without acting like a moron then you will get honest inteligent answers. I have found several people on all the forums that have been willing to help answer many questions about use of gear, health, cycles & many other things. I have checked out some other boards & felt like there was always some agenda or alternative motive (not saying there was just how I felt. Didn't feel that here. Many of the folks on this board call it how they see it which for me helped while reading through the many threads. If you research here the answers are here.

I checked it out, POB seems like an alright guy and I'd trust him...... There is a very troubling number of guys from Ology there though, seems that Zeek was even the Admin at one time Lot of Ology guys pushing Ology shit in the older threads, seems to be better but some of them are still around.
That's just my initial impression, I'll lurk around a bit and see what's up.

Oh see....lesson learned. I didn't know any of the guys on SI were also active on 'ology. FWIW I havent seen any thing shady there. But I never even validated my account. I can't post or pm....just read.

I moderate SI. Feel free to ask around about me or review my post history here. POB is one of the good guys. He is among the few people I trust on the boards.

In the early days of SI, before I joined, Zeek was an administrator. Zeek invited his cronies to join him at SI and enacted some policies on his watch which would never be tolerated today. Eventually Zeek demonstrated himself to be dishonest by scamming some people. The present leadership at SI responded by immediately terminating his account. POB, who was always harshly critical of Zeek, was promoted to administrator. The pressure which was exerted upon Zeek by SI's staff caused him to abandon all of the accounts we're aware of.

The way the staff handled the problem Zeek created demonstrates scamming will not be tolerated from anyone at SI regardless of rank. The staff operating the board at the time were honest with the users and worked hard to help them. Feel free to open a thread and ask our members about Zeek or our current staff. We do not protect anyone who is abusive to our members, delete negative feedback about sources, or promote UGLs.

There are a lot of people from Steroidology at SI. If you read through our member introduction pages you'll notice many people who have abandoned steroidology for various reasons.
