Burning Daylight eh? Im going have to agree with our omni-present dilemma with the dominant two-party system.
But unlike the passionate and controversial lt. Col Gritz I dont see a conspiracy..just a helluva lot of greed and enormous thirst for power.Strange thing that "Power" eh? "absolute power corrupts absolutely"? Im sure it would if one or the other ever gained it.
Ill have to leave the question of whats different or what can you do to the boys at "Big Data" the powerhouse think tanks.
I dont know where we,as a nation and society are headed as those in power wont ever own up to their true agendas nor accept responsibility for greed,corruption and a new type of slanderous propaganda.

What changes? one may ask? well as I see it..the orders of magnitude of increase in body counts from both civilized and not-so-civilized civilizations.
After a particularly shall we say "stressful" and in my mind costly battle that lasted darn near two months, I heard a second lieutenant proclaim the ISAF losses as "acceptable" of course he'd arrived only four days prior,thus missing out on the majority of the fun. I didnt get all pissed like in the movies, instead I puked!
Thats,perhaps, is what our leaders say as one of us drops out of the race,as it were. I could be wrong..but Im not.
