A few people with delicate sensibilities (you know who you are Christa W) have commented that my posts are inflammatory and designed to stir shit and that I post just to argue. That's all fine and dandy - I won't lose sleep over it. I don't appreciate the comments that say I have some sort of following or that I have influence over people because I'm supposed to have "status" at Meso. That is bullshit. I have neither status nor do I want it. I've said before that I wouldn't care if Millard reset my post count to zero - it means nothing to me. I've always encouraged people to base their decisions on the evidence, not on someone's "status." Accusing those - who have evaluated the evidence and then come to the same conclusion I have - of being followers is a pathetic, desperate attempt to discredit these members and silence them. These members are not followers, they are free thinkers. They do NOT believe the consensus is right just because it's the consensus. They are an asset to Meso.
That said, it's true that I've tormented PC in the past. I can't help it. PC's incessant bragging is too much to resist and I admit I like watching him flip-out. However, the only threat PC offers to Meso is the possibility he might mislead some noob with his nonsense, like he has done with young Christa W. PC's not a bad person, just a flake.
Stretch on the other hand, is another story and I've made my thoughts on him clear previously. This was the perfect thread - Stretch and the few remaining followers he still has are all gathered. I know what Stretch is and think it's important for others to know as well. However, as mentioned above, people need to evaluate the evidence and come to their own conclusions. My opinion of Stretch and his loyalists wouldn't do any good - that's not evidence.
I felt the best way to demonstrate Stretch's true character as well as the weak mindedness of his lap dogs was to get them to do it themselves. I knew I could provoke Stretch. I've been able to do it before and he's always responded. People will drop their guard when emotional; they'll reveal things they would otherwise keep hidden.
So yes, my comments in this tread were inflammatory. The intent was to provoke Stretch and get him to reveal himself. And he did - more than I could have hoped. He proved himself to be a man of very low character and a man who is a fraud in every sense of the word. There is no low to which Stretch will not stoop, all the while professing to be a Christian.
My comments also had the effect of exposing his followers as mind-numb robots, willing to follow their leader into depravity.
Thanks to all who offered their support in this thread. It's greatly appreciated.
