I don't understand this at all. This goes way beyond just a lack of filtering. The amount of contamination in those pics is proof the equipment used (beakers, flasks, whatever) is NOT being cleaned before brewing. This is a clear case of negligence on the part of the brewer - plain and simple. And like Mike pointed out, the vials certainly aren't being examined before sending them out. Absolutely ridiculous.

It's actually one big chunk right in the middle there.
I was shaking it to move it around in an attempt to get a better pic.
For the record, one big chunk and two little ones that really didn't show in anybof the pics.

But honestly the pics do it no justice.
