Could you share the ratio you brew it at?

I've gotten some painful batches before. Cutting it with ethyl oleate helps more than anything else in my experience. If you're doing a 1.5 ml injection, just draw 1.5 ml of EO into the same syringe. Vials of sterile EO are easy to find online.

I brew mine with ethyl oleate too. I get mild PIP at worst at 100 mg/ml. DHB has been one of my favorites since I first tried it in 2004. I'm on a low(ish) dose DHB cycle now with test and trest.

What is the membrane of choice for bottle top filtration of oil and solvents? PVDF, nylon, PP, PES or CA? Also can ethyl oleate be run through a bottle-top filter without it dissolving the glue of the membrane?
