do any of you guys like this split ? for me it felt like i could spend that extra time on the session as i know i have the next day day for recovery...
day 1: chest,triceps,biceps & abs
day 2: rest
day 3: back,hamstrings & calfs
day 4: rest
day 5: shoulders,triceps, biceps & abs
day 6: rest
day 7: quads,glutes,hamsrtings & calfs
day 8: rest
REPEAT
spend about 90 minutes on each session or do you think i would be better off doing day 1 and 2 without rest, have a rest day and do day 3 & 4 and then rest? so 2 days on 1 day off with the same split ?

This is what I have been doing lately and it has yielded excellent results. Sometimes I do workout on 'off' days if I feel like it, but I keep volume very low (like single sets of each exercise). This seems to be very compatible with my body.

My current split is three days of heavy compounds only (full body) on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a full body bodybuilding/weak points day on Sunday. I've been running variations of this for almost a year now with great results.

its because at the moment i have been tryin to drop my bf as low as possible so doing 1 day weights, next day cardio & abs which has sped the process up for me... as of now i will be going 2 days on 1 day off :)

I do 2 on 1 off also 1.5 hrs each on day and usually throw in some Push ups and crunches on off days to get blood pumping.... Try full body but some days it's more 80%ish and follow up the next day to complete additional sets. I don't feel I get enough in a day to take a day off right behind it. But I also work 7days/12hr shifts for weeks at a time.
