Wild Oats and Nettles Vs. Proviron

I am still going to use Proviron at 50mg ed for as long as I want, but since Wild Oats and Nettles free up the test bound to SHBG, is it as strong as proviron? Essentially, the test is being freed up. if this does happen, there wouldn't be a need for proviron. All three compounds seem to do the same thing, except for proviron affecting the HTPA. Any thoughts on this?

BTW is Wild Oats (Oatstraw) the same as Oats...as in the Organic Oats I eat? can avena sativa be found in these oats or do i have to buy it? it would be cool to have "proviron" everytime i eat oats!

wow i never read so much about oats and im glad ive been eating a real energy food. for those who aren't already, start eating some oats!

i have also been reading about nettles and it is really great, but it stops the conversion of test to DHT which isnt very good since we need DHT. it lowers SHBG and estrogen, so i guess it is a good compound to take but still unsure if it stops conv of test to DHT while on supraphysiological test levels! either way it still might help reduce many side effects while on cycle.

SR, other than a vague reference to oats regulating estrogen, from your herb link, you've lost me on any similarity between oats and proviron. There doesn't seem to be much of a connection in the mind of the scientific world either as I can't find any scientific studies along the lines of avena sativa/oats/wild oats/strawoats and an effect on either testosterone or estrogen. I think you're way out on a thin limb.

There are many natural products from nature that work. And they are generally well documented... if they work. If they don't work, then the benefits are just thrown out there and only the gullible believe them. Unless you have scientific studies confirming the abilities of some natural plant, I chalk up most of the talk by the nature lovers to be the equivalent of what they feed their plants.

MR, you have a good point. i do think i am way out on a thin limb but i have heard alot of bros here recommend avena sativa and maca when coming off, and some noted their experience with it. what does it do if there is no real connection with test/estrogen?

SR, good question. Perhaps the power of the mind? :)

The problem is these stories are all anectdotal and there's often other products thrown into the mix. So the person raving about X product as helping him recover after a cycle, is also taking hcg and/or clomid and/or nolvadex so the benefits are hard to say. Also, there's never any blood work done so that's a question mark. Or, maybe the person's natural HPTA system just kicked in... and now they're basically going around saying how great those Sugar pills are.

yeah you bring up good points. most of these people are in their PCT.

do you use any herbs? i just bought some green tea extract because caffeine makes me nervous/anxious.
