The Supreme Court in the State of Washington ruled that random drug testing of student athletes (which presumably would include steroid testing) was unconstitutional. Other states allow it. The U.S. Constitution allows it. But the Washington Supreme Court said today that random drug testing of student athletes is not allowed under the state constitution. Some states guarantee greater privacy protections than the U.S. Constitution and Fourth Amendment [...]

That is absolutely stupid. To take their argument to the legal conclusion, then the state is also not allowed to ask questions of people.

The schools and legislature can get something done. They can take accurate measurements, height weight of everyone and look for anomalies, then have probable cause. I don't know or care to know the Washington state constitution, but the judges in the US have gone too far in usurping powers no constitution provides them.

Teens on AAs is sheer stupidity. The implications of AAs last until the end of their lives. I have friends who did them in HS. Sure they were freakishly strong. Now they are short twerps, who regret everyday that they did AAS in HS.
