Shame!

The laws are flawed. This will do nothing in the way of curtailing the use of drugs. Its a waste of valuable resources to go after recreational users of AAS.

If this is proof that the law cannot stop this, I don't know what is. The laws are flawed because you send abusers and rec. users to prison. This does nothing for rehabilitation. It will more than likely create more of a problem in the way they will be worse off than before. Also it puts a strain on the prison system because you are putting people behind bars for crimes such as this when there could be much more room made available for jack offs such as 1st and 2nd degree murderers. The problem and they (LEO, Legislators, and Politicians) don't understand it ....is demand. There will always be a demand for these drugs across the board. Whether it be for recreational use such as pot or aas. This is also true for other drugs such as cocaine or heroine. Locking someone up will almost always never do anything to stop the demand. This effort of theirs is futile.

I'm not saying that meth should be legalized and they crackheads should roam the streets however I'm saying that the laws should be rewritten as opposed to attacking people and throwing them in a slam for drug use. Hell, I almost don't blame because of how we get rapped by politicians and the government with their wasted Tarp/stimulus, cap and trade tax, and universal healthcare. The shit is depressing to hear that our dollars are going to special interests groups and pet projects that has nothing to do with revitalizing the economy. If I didn't know how to deal with the madness, I'd probably resort to cocaine use myself to escape from this insanity.

There is toooo much government interference in the everyday lives of the citizens. This article is evidence. Even fed and state government officials are getting busted for these crimes.
